“Yes I am a real customer who just had a roof installed. I usually don’t write reviews unless something goes terribly wrong or it was a particularly good experience. We’ve had our fair share of mini disasters with contractors but I’m happy to comment on the ladder.From the start Steve the owner was very responsive. He was the first company I contacted and so I waited to get 3-4 other bids before circling back to Portlandia. He had me come to current job sites to get a look at the shingles in person and answered all of my questions so I decided to give them the business. So glad we did. About 2 days before my install date the roof decides to start leaking (off course). That same morning Steve had a crew there to stop the leak. As I mentioned he answered all of my questions (and I had a lot) and was on site most times to manage the job which you don’t see often. Fair pricing and good customer service! “This is the second time I've had NW Shine out for roof moss removal. The first treatment lasted several years. I also had them pressure wash the front of my house, and do the shed roof. They do great work, and I'll be having them out in the future.“

“I have a low pitch garage roof and not many roofers know how to properly apply the material. After getting several "This is my I don't want to do it estimate", Black Diamond came (Fortino is terrific!) and explained how it would be done and what to expect. The crew came on time, did the work and cleaned up afterward. Fortino did last inspection to make sure all was done properly. I can't say enough good things about this crew/company.
