Janet and her team at Golden Hour have been a pivotal part of my healing for maybe a decade now. I often come home to Portland just to spend time here. The space alone is magic with Janet's incredible curatorial eye and attention to detail. All the senses are hit. I feel it the moment I am greeted by Lucy and sit down with their tea. Throughout the week I like to vary between chair treatments with Ocean or Sara (which include THE BEST massage) and a full massage moxa appointment. Also worth a pop in to spend some time in the little shop (which feels like a highly curated general store) where they have a selection of healing oils, the tea! etc. I can't leave... read full review
I saw Ocean for a 40 min acupuncture session and it was AMAZING! I will continue to go monthly. I had never tried acupuncture, and I think the mini session is the perfect way to try it out. I felt so grounded and relaxed after my session. I will be booking again!
Stumbled across Golden Hour on a trip to Portland visiting from Vancouver, Canada. And so happy I did! Had a terrible neck and shoulder sprain that had been bothering me for over a week. Booked the chair treatment that included massage and acupuncture. The following day my pain was totally gone. Thank you Ocean!!
