I just got freckles tattooed and I am so impressed with the results and the whole experience. She was so informative and told me everything I needed to know. She listened and even looked up every skin care item I used to make sure it was safe. She made me feel very welcomed. I will forever recommend her. She is an expert in what she does and it shows. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Empress Brow! Emily is a Permanent Make Up Wizard! Her attention to detail, professionalism and skill level is INCREDIBLE! I insta-stalked her and her work for about a year before reaching out for a consultation. I called and she answered the call to make my face the best it’s ever been! I was definitely nervous about letting someone tattoo my face. She put all my fears as ease with her knowledge of her craft. She answered all my questions about the process, shape, color and cost. Together we chose the perfect shape, color and type of service that would best fit my skin type and face shape. For me it was micro blading as I wanted a more natural look, and happy for me - I had a skin type that would allow for that to happen. Once I arrived she greeted me with a warm smile. Her studio was OCD level clean and very cute and PDX chic. She even let me choose the music we would be listening to during my service! The process wasn't scary at all. She explained what was happening each step of the way. It wasn't nearly as scary or painful as I had expected. She used a wonderful numbing cream and was sure to check in with me often to see where my comfort level was, reapplying that numbing cream as necessary. Once her brow magic was complete she handed me the mirror to take a look. I ALMOST CRIED WITH DELIGHT! They were absolutely incredible! Beautiful little hair strokes that looked so natural! The healing process was a dry heal. I have several tattoos and hadn't ever done a dry heal before. She assured me that this was the best way to heal micro blading - so of course I did exactly what she said! 14 days with no water on my brows - a challenge at times - but 100% WORTH IT! When I returned for my touch up she said they healed perfectly and they were almost perfect, even without the touch up. The touch up appt was just as smooth and amazing as the initial appt. But somehow, my brows and l left even more perfect and natural looking then they were when I arrived! My brows are now the BROWS OF MY DREAMS! I seriously couldn't stop checking myself out in every mirror for week’s afterword!! When I was in for my brow touch up we started talking lips. I have never loved my lips. They were not quite as pink as I'd wanted them and my cupids bow was a bit uneven. After seeing what her work was like and having felt so held and cared for in the creation of my beautiful brows, I decided to book that lip appointment. I was back on her table in less than a month for my lips. I meeeean, why would I wait any longer to look even better, right?!?!? My Lip appointment was just as easy and informative as my brow appt was. She used her knowledge of color theory to take a look at my lips, hear what I wanted and educate me on the undertone of my lips and skin. We talked what colors and processes we'd need to do to get me to where I wanted to be. I wanted a "pinky nude" but I need a little peach wash first to get me to where I wanted to be. At the first appointment she did a lovely peach color wash, using that incredible numbing cream again so the process wasn't painful. My lips did swell, as expected when you are tattooing them. The swelling only lasted about 36 hours and was honestly kinda fun to have those beautiful, luscious, plump lips for a bit. The aftercare was silly easy. The healing only took about a week, or a little under that. I went back for my touch up about 4-6 weeks later. She did a raspberry wash next to achieve that beautiful "pinky nude" I was after. Results achieved~ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!!!! I love, love, love my face in a way I never even knew was possible!!!! Choose Emily! Choose Empress Brow! Choose You! You're worth it!
