To be fair, I should give her 5 stars. Amy fired me as a client 4 years ago. this was after I was assessed a 15k late and penalty fees from Oregon. this was well after oct 15. I needed all my documents be sent to a tax lawyer. she demanded a huge retainer. I needed to get the dept of rev issue dealt with first. She fired me. i stopped at her office on hawthorn. she was out. we agreed on a courier to retrieve my documents. again she was out. then she told the tax lawyer, she had left my documents out, and they were stolen. (but no police report on my behalf). we managed to recreate most of the documents, and get an abatement of the fines. since then, my current accountant has filed well before April 15 (which allows me to get the kicker), and at about 1/10 of the cost. yes, I am thankful she fired me. if she hadn't, I would still be mired in all the turmoil, missed deadlines, and feeble excuses.

Since our business return was soon to be due, we reluctantly paid her exorbitant costs. To this date we have not received a final correct copy...read full review
After already paying thousands of dollars to file a couple years taxes, Amy kept demanding more and more money. For the work I had done, it should have cost at most $400, I ended up paying almost $3000 before realizing that she was never going to "finish" my taxes, but was just going to keep asking for more money. In the end, my taxes never got filed for one year and she lost all of my documents from that year (claiming I never gave her any documents and I had emailed her everything which was a lie), so I was never able to file taxes for that year. The year that was done took over 9 months for her to file. This was a few years ago, but I'm dealing with all of this again...read full review
