Dr. Nguyen treated me for six months following a severe car accident and I was able get my life back because of the help I received at his clinics, Access Health Centers. I have been to chiropractors in the past and this was by far the best treatment and care I've ever received. Dr. Nguyen and his team are very compassionate and caring. The doctor puts forth every possible way to treat the injuries that you have suffered. He works flawlessly with your attorneys and is always available for any questions you may have. Ten stars if I could!!!!
This review is about their onboarding process. The actual work services provided are probably okay, but the onboarding process is convoluted and a racket. Their website advertises a free consult, actually that's pretty standard. But they often push to upgrade you to their $79 dollar introduction consult plus examination instead, claiming this is the only way to keep and hold your appointment. What?! So making a consult appointment isn't going to happen? The fee payment is based on a partnership with a type of discount program from a provider they partner with. By paying this fee you are required to sign up with said company for discounted services which include X-rays that you never see. I could have had my X-rays done for free through my insurance offsite and had them transferred instead. The partnered "discount" company charges $49 a year just for membership. So now I have to call in and cancel this stupid company for a service I will never use. No copies of signed documents are provided either, just a receipt. You can actually have the fee refunded if you cancel your membership within 30 days, but no one tells you that and you won't get a letter until after 30 days explaining it. I have to also wonder about this partnership selling your data as all of the sudden I am now getting spam text messages that I never did before? Hmmm. Also a huge waste of time... the pre-qualification. Other places I've called checked with my insurance before actually making an appointment to see if any of their services would be covered. Medicare hardly ever covers chiropractic services depending on how they are coded or claimed. Could have saved me a ton of time and money by saying ahead of time that my insurance wouldn't cover any of their services. Instead they create a package that you can make payments or spend your retirement savings on. Also, a lot of the questions you fill out on your first visit could easily be done ahead of time to save time, rather having to do it in the office. The setup is kind of a racket. The other odd thing is that the doctor works with multiple people at the same time, he never tells you this. So instead he disappears for 5-10 minutes at a time and then comes back. This happens at least 6 or more times during an almost 2 hour visit. Sure, it makes some sense, but it'd be nice if he told you this is how he operates and could manage the time breaks a bit better. A 2 hour visit could have easily been less than an hour. Ugggh.
Braxton is an incredible chiropractor. He specializes in many other things, such as weight loss, etc. I have been a few times and have to say, he is incredibly educated in his field & thorough. He is very caring and caters to clients needs and schedules very well.
