Melanie is an expert at her craft. She even made a beautiful movie about henna in India! And is making another about henna in Morocco. She is phenomenal actually. I do healing work and whenever I’m going through a rite of passage I love receiving a ceremonial session with Melanie. It marks a time in my life. Those few weeks I see the images imprinted on my body remind me of the portal of healing I’m going through. Whether a portal of empowerment like the snake and peony piece she did on my back, or an embodiment of self love she did on my heart chakra it always beautiful and impactful. Melanie with Blue Lotus Henna is amazing at her artistry and such a delight to talk to. Her passion and dedication to her work truly shows in her exquisite ability to freehand beautiful designs, create consistent and cohesive lines and patterns, and her thoughtfulness when explaining aftercare and expectations. We hired her for a work party and everyone was beyond excited and happy with their henna art she uniquely curated for each of us. Absolutely would recommend her for anything henna related.

Melanie is fantastic! She does amazing work and is a lovely person. Does a great job of communicating prior to appointment as well as when you're there, to be sure the design is what you would like. This was the 2nd time my granddaughter has visited from the east coast and wanted to have work done here. Each time she was very pleased. I'm sure we'll be back! ?
