I have been worked with Alex since 2021. I went to see him because 20 years of shots and several kinds of physical therapy had not helped my back pain. Alex is an excellent teacher: patient, knowledgeable, insightful, and funny. If I don't understand one approach, he tries another. He is very careful and reassuring. He helps me figure out how to deal with physical limitations without making things worse. My worst intercostal nerve pain is now gone, and my old lady kyphosis is improving.
Alex has been my Gyrotonic trainer for several years. He is very knowledgeable, helpful and observant. I always feel better after one of our sessions and attribute at least part of the improvement in my golf game to the increased range and flexibility of movement resulting from this training.
I have been taking Gyrotonic and Alexander Technique sessions with Alex for years. The Gyrotonic sessions have increased and maintained my flexibility beyond what Pilates previously did for me. I have benefited not only from the multi-dimensional way that the Gyrotonic equipment allows me to move, but also from Alex's thoughtful, caring, and customized approach to his sessions. Based upon his knowledge of the human body (honed by years of ballet training and dancing) and his observation of my body, Alex crafts sessions that loosen and stretch me in a good way, with some interesting discussions on a variety of eclectic topics thrown in to boot.
