I am an adult who is already a skilled musician. I choose Park Place Academy because I know what to look for. Elisa Boynton is a first class musician and teacher no matter your age. Her students learn to play beautifully and they love the learning process.

This school is all of the very best things about studying music and I can't recommend it highly enough! Elisa Boynton brings the best European music training to her work, but even more, creates an atmosphere of support, enthusiasm, and joyful appreciation of every note. The school offers both individual and group experiences. Communication is always clear and the events are well organized. Of personal importance, I found a high level of understanding of adult-learner needs, in addition to the skilled coaching of younger students at all levels...and with many different instruments! A unique gem of musical education in the Metro area.

My 9-year-old daughter, who is fairly shy, started playing the violin at Park Place Music Academy this year. We couldn't be more pleased with the clear, professional instruction from Ms. Boynton. My daughter is flourishing with a new instrument and we couldn't be happier. Ms. Boynton is kind, precise and knows just how to make it fun and easy to remember and play the lessons.

From Oregon City Music Academy

Oregon City Music academy offers Music Lessons for kids. We offer classical training as well as the Suzuki Method. The Suzuki method is based on his approach that musical ability is not an inborn talent but an ability that can be developed. Any child, who is professionally trained, can develop musical ability, just as all children develop the ability to speak their mother tongue. The potential of every child is unlimited. Students get a recital after every 12 lessons to showcase their new talent to parents and friends. Year-round school to provide continuous support and the ability to practice without gaps. This guarantees even progress. All teachers at our academy are vetted as active musicians with multiple years of teaching experience.
