I had the fortunate experience of meeting Diane Shenk who invested in and restored this historical building. She had the foresight to not only rescue this structure, but also re-create it as a business! Rather than let it be bulldozed because it was in such poor condition, she employed her skills as a designer and transformed it into something new and beautiful which is an asset to this neighborhood.
