My boyfriend and I went to the ER this morning. We were taken into triage immediately. From there we were taken into a room immediately. A provider came in within 5 minutes. We were treated and out of there within an hour. They were very friendly and helpful to us.
The care is ok if you can be seen. Most the staff seems to want to care and help people but there's an overwhelming number of people attempting to receive care. The wait times in the ER are absolutely absurd! Asante has done a great job monopolizing the medical system here and it shows. Almost as bad as the parking situation. There's plenty of parking a couple blocks away from the hospital but nothing close or immediately attached.
My husband was unfortunately enough that he was admitted to the hospital while getting checked out in the emergency room. But we were absolutely amazed how we were treated during this whole experience. Staff were amazing from the receptionists, CNAs, RNs, technicians, ER doctors, admitting doctors and urologists are extreme professionals. Kudos to lab work technicians, imaging technicians and the cleaning staff. During the 4 days stayed in the hospital we were treated and attended to with most respected, we were given the best care we can asked for.
