About Guild Gallery & Art Center
The Guild Gallery & Art Center, located in the historic Kerby Belt Building, is managed by the Southern Oregon Guild, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting artists and the arts in Southern Oregon. It is a permanent public place that makes visible, to tourists and locals alike, the high quality and amazing diversity of creative work produced in our rural region. A variety of locally-made fine art and crafts are available for purchase year-round at the Guild Gallery, where they curate four member exhibits per year, each with opening celebrations. They also offer art classes, educational workshops, and special events throughout the year. Visitors can expect a beautiful gallery with a great selection of art in many different media, from serious collector pieces to casual admirer finds. This terrific nonprofit, community art gallery is well-curated, featuring quality paintings, etchings, ceramics, jewelry, poetry books, and much more at reasonable prices. The friendly, helpful staff ensure a pleasant experience for all.

This organization supports working and aspiring artists in rural southern Oregon. Their talented, hardworking leadership provides a steady stream of activities, classes and workshops to help everyone keep their skills honed throughout the year. Then, in October, they present ARTOberfest, the largest annual art show in Josephine County, where their talented and innovative artist members can bring their works for a holiday kickoff exhibition and sale. It's a great place for visitors or local vacationers to take a break when traveling from the Rogue and Illinois Valleys to the coast. As an organization devoted to supporting artists in every stage of their work, The Guild's well-rounded services and resources make them an essential business partner for any Josephine County artist and their gallery an important stop for art enthusiasts & collectors. Without them, there would be many hidden away artists in this largely rural area struggling to get their work seen. Instead, the SO Guild provides the support artists need to surface, emerge, and thrive in their own community.
