“Karate for Kids is more than an activity, a private school, or a gym. They are a shining star of consistency in an ever changing world. They do provide healthy activities for children and adults, but also examples of respect, discipline, and courtesy for everyone. During the shutdown they maintained an online schedule and as we all emerge they have practices in place to do so safely. They have ramped up their already thorough cleaning procedures, adjusted class sizes for extra distancing, and modified lessons reducing equipment use. They can monitor everyone who comes in and still provide high quality education. Having this opportunity gives students and parents a place to interact responsibly, and having the school open to go to gives me motivation to suit up and show up for my own benefit as well as to help other students.“
“Started taking the shindo jinen-ryu karate course in '23. The Sensei's are very skilled, professional, and encouraging. The class time is used effectively and attendee ages range from kids to old guys like me. You cannot beat the price-to-value ratio, considering $50 a month ($80 for families) lets you take karate, judo, danzan ryu, etc.“
“Took the free first class and loved it. I've never done any kind of training or martial arts and was very nervous, but the class was easy to understand and I was able to go at my own pace with the things that were more than just how to throw a punch. If you have ANY kind of interest, definitely take the free class. It was well worth it. Plus, the next three classes for only $20 is a super deal if you're still unsure but interested enough to try more.“
“I love this place. The instructors are great with the kids and very engaging. They teach good core values and the staff is always very helpful and pleasant.“
