Dec. 23 2022 as the whole country is experiencing an epic cold storm.I had done all the trouble shoot steps to no avail. I called McDowell and Sons for help. They fixed our furnace two years ago and did a great job.An actual person answered and took down my number and situation. Less than 15 minutes later Tom called me back and he walked me through my steps of trouble shooting and then he had me try other steps. Within 5 minutes over the phone we got the furnace going again. Yes, it was a frozen line inside the furnace on the ignition fail safes.Legend status for this crew at McDowell and Sons! Thanks so much!

McDowell & Son were the ONLY company to even respond when I called. To this day, the other three I contacted have not bothered to return my call! The heat pump went out 1 week ago. A tech showed up today to diagnose...He showed up on time, had the parts to repair the unit, do a complete service, and left it working better than before! The level of professionalism, courtesy, and service is remarkable in this day and age. I highly recommend them and will be using them again if needed.Service: A/C system repair

My experience with McDowell & Son was “Five Star.” I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat. Responsible. Reliable. Respectful. BACKGROUND: I had previously contacted the area’s biggest / most well-known Heating and Cooling company for service due to a problem with our “very low mileage” HVAC—had to wait two weeks before a technician was available. It was discovered that mice had nested in the outdoor unit and chewed wiring in the control unit, and the damage was “extensive.” I was advised to replace the outdoor unit rather than attempt a repair.
