I had an unfortunate turn of events & stumbled upon BALM+BRISTLE when looking for a new stylist. I'm sooooo happy I found this salon!!! Janine is amazing: the epitome of customer service. She's great with cutting & styling curls & absolutely PERFECT with color knowledge!As an added bonus... she's got a very cute puppy to snuggle with.

Really loved my appointment with Janine. She was understanding and caring for what I needed and the results were exactly what I was hoping for. I'm still happy with my color 3 months later. Such a nice experience and really great color job. She's an absolute sweetheart and her new location is cute too. I'll be returning for all my coloring and Aveda needs

I have tried to go to other people beside Janine, and through enough bad experiences I have vowed to NEVER see anyone else. She is a very skilled artist and technician. I have asked her to do very risky and almost impossible things with my hair (asymetrical bob cut) and she does it with precise execution. My spunky style is not her only gift, she can gracefully approach anyones need. My mother-in-law is a dedicated follower as well, my girlfriends and their ridiculously curly haired children.Lastly, Not only is she talented and professional in all things hair-(color, cut, style).
