School of Respect is a family-owned and operated taekwondo school located on Main Street. The school has been serving the Hillsboro community for 25 years and has been voted the best Martial Arts school for five consecutive years.     We have been coming the School of Respect for two years now, and I truly cannot say enough good things about it. My daughter absolutely loves coming to class and has learned so much. Not just physically, but in her confidence, focus, and self-discipline.

    The Masters and the entire team are all incredible. What sets this school apart is how genuinely invested they are in the kids and their families. They take the time to really get to know each child, encourage them at their level, and create an environment where kids feel supported, seen, and capable.

    My sons have been enrolled for nearly a year and a half. I originally only knew that they taught Taekwondo. Now that we have been here a while, I love their philosophy and how they teach young children about honor, control and respect. I came so my sons can learn self-defense but I'm part of the community because they help train our children with important lessons.

    My daughter (5yo but started at 4yo) has been attending for about 6 months now and we absolutely love it. She is excited to go to class every time! I love that it is 2 times a week rather than most extra curriculars that are only once a week. Master Zach and Master Sami (and their 3 children) are absolutely amazing. We consider them family. The respect that is taught is unmatched by any other class/group that we’ve participated in. It echos my teachings at home, which has been incredibly impactful for my daughter to see the same set of rules reflected outside of our home. Highly recommend.
