I had the displeasure of meeting Darrin today where he refused my simple tax return after initially giving me the green light to sign all the necessary paperwork for handing over my taxes.

After glancing at the forms from my government job (I work in the school system), Darrin made a bizarre comment about my name and then suddenly he followed up with, “We are too busy, I cannot file your taxes,” as he pried the sign-over paperwork he just gave me from my hands. I asked him if he was confusing me for someone else and he said “no.” Confused and bewildered by the sudden rudeness and refusal, I left.

Very DisappointedIf there was 0 I would rate that! Absolutely worst service I've ever encountered! I have had a meeting scheduled since November when we had our first phone meeting that he was paid for as well as for our future meeting to file my taxes, never received a confirmation or any paperwork to fill out. I show up was left to have a "meet" in the lobby about personal information, I filled out paperwork and when I asked the secretary if I would be meeting with him in an office, she snapped back they didn't have my documents ( the ones I brought with me and just gave to them) Darren then came out and told me that he no longer had time to file my taxes. Spent months trying to speak to Darrin about certain details and discrepancies with my quickbooks. Never returned a single phone call until I finally left a message wondering if we needed to file an extension. Rude secretary called back saying that taxes were ready to sign???? When I went into the office and asked about the lack of communication I was rudely told that Darrin wasn't my bookkeeper. I have been in business for 16 years and have never encountered such rude and unprofessional treatment in an office setting. If I could rate lower than one star I would. Absolutely horrible.Edit: In fairness I should also say that he did my taxes last year and did a good job....read full review
