Companion Animal Hospital provides quality care for pets. The hospital's staff is kind and ensures animals are comfortable and recover well. With multiple veterinarians, they can efficiently treat a variety of problems. Wait times may be long, but the care and treatment are worth it, and prices are often more affordable than expected. The clinic is one of the few walk-in options in the area, which is convenient for visitors. The staff, from the phone receptionist to the checkout techs, are incredibly friendly. Dr. Crepeau, who examined the patient, was very friendly, reassuring, and knowledgeable, providing affordable and effective treatment. The receptionist is upfront about long wait times but suggests checking the waitlist status by phone, which can be helpful for patients traveling from Portland.
We have been taking our Labrador to Companion Animal Hospital since he was a puppy. Before that we had a 16 year old Labrador and brought him here too for over a decade. Just got a new puppy and of course brought him to Companion for his wellness check and vaccines. Close to home, walk in clinic with friendly, knowledgeable, and caring staff.
Update- we now have a second dog and just took them both in to be neutered and microchipped. Friendly staff and helpful. Apparently they are updating their name to Silicon Forest animal hospital but no change in ownership or service.
Companion in Hillsboro is one of the few (maybe only) walk-in clinics in the area which worked for me being in the area for family visiting. The staff was incredibly friendly from the person who answered the phone to the techs who helped me check out at the end. Dr. Crepeau who examined our pup was very friendly, reassuring, and incredibly knowledgeable. Although the diagnosis wasn’t great news, I felt so much better knowing that Winston received excellent care and we received medications at affordable prices. Wait was understandably long, and the end result was an affordable and effective treatment for my kitty. I highly recommend companion animal hospital and I’ll use them again if my kitty gets sick
