Great for a horticultural browse when on the central coast; selection is somewhere between Shonnard's in Corvallis and Tony's in SE Portland, with similar prices. Great selection of plants for coastal gardens and our milder wetter winter (relative to the valley). Bonus points for ample, easy parking, an interesting selection of indoor plants as well & a great number of shade lovers. Minor point deductions for plants lacking common name/Latin ID tags (a price tag alone is insufficient...) & a meager bamboo selection (it's prominently featured in the nursery signage and name...)

At first glance it looks like quaint gift shop as you drive by, but out back it's amazing with with a large quantity of beautiful well cared for flowers and plants. The owners and staff were so helpful. Will definitely be returning!

I love stopping at Laurel Bay Gardens when I'm at the coast. The sales people are always friendly and helpful, offering advice and knowledge. It's fun to take a new treasure home to my own garden.
