I'm over 70, lived here since 1964, tried every shop I've ever found, always looking for an old school barber. I had 1 for over 10 yrs and they passed away. Everyplace I've gone, I left feeling a bit unhappy. I didn't want to walk them through every move, I wanted them to know, but they simply didn't have the skills or experience. I walked in the Red Rooster, there was 2 ladies cutting hair, the open seat was the center of 3 chairs with a young lady. I almost walked back out, knowing what was going to happen, but what a surprise. Following this lady telling me about her formal education, her training and experience, I left with a smile on my face, a nice haircut, a trimmed beard, nose, ear and eyebrows neatly trimmed too. I think the normal price was $17 and she offered me a senior discount, which was nice, but she earned every penny I gave her. I'll be back there again.
