“Called for a bid to install an EV charger. Very prompt return call to my message and they gave me the bid over the phone using Google Street View and asking several questions to clarify the situation. The bid was very reasonable (compared to some others that were nearly twice as much!) and in line with my expectation based upon my own electrical experience. I called them back after getting the other expensive bids to see if maybe they’d misunderstood something in the initial call (though I wasn’t sure how since it’s a very straightforward, simple project). We went over it again and they confirmed the details and that estimated price and said that they just believe in fair pricing and can’t really say why other electricians charge so much more.

While I ultimately ended up not hiring Livewire after discussing the project with a contractor friend and opting to do the work myself to save the money (at the expense of nearly an entire weekend), I will be keeping them in mind for future electrical work based on the very positive experience I had here.“
