A very wonderful barn with an amazing atmosphere! Whether you are boarding or taking lessons, Robert is a knowledgable and extremely helpful individual. Several times, I could even say daily, he sets time aside for me to give advice or help with a project mare, and I consistently see him doing the same for others at the barn. As another review has mentioned, yes, the arena is NEVER exclusive, and everyone currently at the barn fully respects it. The arena is very large, so there's never a problem with sharing space, covered, and very well lit thanks to the new lights Robert has recently put in. Stoneybrook is a low drama boarding and training facility that is reasonably priced and provides great care. I’ve been there two years now and my horses are perfectly happy with their three meals a day and maid service. Robert cares about all his charges and is a patient instructor to boot. The stalls are roomy and the arena is big enough for driving the hitch wagon with a team without feeling confined. Even during hay season there is a 1 mile outdoor loop so no shortage on places to ride or drive.

A good, reasonably priced, boarding and training facility for both driving and riding. Large stalls, huge arena, and a very knowledgeable owner who treats the horses well. Stoneybrook is about a 50 acre facility with a good portion of the main property under hay in the spring and early summer. The oversized arena is large enough to drive a team with a hitch wagon and, when the weather cooperates, there is trail (.8 mile loop) that runs around the back of the property that is suitable for both driving and riding.
