This hospital deserves way more than 5 stars. This is the absolute best experience in any hospital ive been to out of 6 states. They treated my sister with a level of compassion and respect that made me feel like Christ walks the halls of that hospital. This was her 4th visit to the ER in 10 days, but our first time at this one. They did things that a doctor should do that I haven't seen them do at the other hospital she went to previously like listen to heart with a stethoscope, or reviewing her allergies list. We came into contact with 8 or 9 different people throughout the time she was there, and every single one of them was genuinely kind, and no one tried to rush her out of the door without proper accessment as had been our previous experience. Even when they determined she was safe to go home, they kept her 3 more hours so they could run the labs one more time just to be sure. I also didn't have to repeat myself once, and they actually reviewed her records prior to asking a bunch of questions about her history. They were thorough and I finally was able to feel peace instead of panic about them sending her home. I would absolutely recommend this hospital, even if you have to drive further to that one, than the closest hospital (so long as it safe to do) especially if that closest hospital happens to be part of the Salem Health System. The only regret i had was that when they were releasing her, i had just stepped outside for a moment to get something from my car, and I never got a chance to tell them how much I truly appreciated each and every one of them, from the check in, to triage, to the nurses and phlobotomists, and especially, the doctor who made sure we were both able to understand the information provided, and restored my faith in the Healthcare system in Oregon. Looks like I now have to move to corvallis, so I can ensure the ambulance will take me here instead of anywhere else either. Thank you so much Good Samaritan. PS, my sister was especially fond of and grateful for the lab person, Jeremy. I also want to say, that in the over 300 times Ive had my own blood drawn, with difficulties of finding my veins, Ive never met a mpre skilled lab technician. when all my sisters veins were completely shot, and they absolutely needed to draw blood, he was able to pull just enough out of the tiniest vein on her finger. Thats expert level!

Nov, 6th 2023 I had surgery at corvallis hospital. Prior to the surgery I discussed with the surgeon the medication that I would require. He agreed and there was supposed to be no problem. 3 days before the surgery. I talk to a nurse from the hospital about this again. On the day of surgery when I got to the hospital and asked for anti-anxiety medicine. I was told I couldn't have any because I had to sign forms when I ask the anesthesiologist. He said I was going to get plenty of stuff and don't worry about it. Except I didn't get what I was supposed to. After I experienced A horrible time in the recovery area and I was wheeled back to my room with my husband I was in so much pain. I couldn't really talk, there was a doctor there named doctor Spencer Hill. He's not my doctor and he just argued with me about the medication that I was supposed to get and he did this mind you well, I had just got out of surgery and i'm under the influence and I can't think straight. He apparently has some problem with anxiety and pain medicine to the point to where he sent in my prescriptions in a low-dose. That I'm supposed to take 2 pills that I can't swallow because of the tube down my throat. And then he made one of the prescriptions incomplete so I didn't get it until almost two full days after my surgery. It was a traumatic and horrific experience for someone that has a d h d. I reiterated this more than one time and it got to be old. So it is now Thursday. The 4th day of my surgery and of course, they're not going to issue any pain medicine or anti-anxiety medicine now. Because they would only do that for the first four days after surgery. So since the surgery I've only been on advil. And I talk to another doctor today and told them my pain levels are 7. But you know drink some liquid tylenol. Yeah whatever never again .

My daughter has seizures and has had an influx over the last 3 weeks. We made an appointment with her neurologist, who was no help and sent us to Immediate care; they, in turn, sent us to the ER, and the ER was useless! If you care about care, don't come here! If my cock were castrated in their driveway, I would risk death to drive myself somewhere else. Just saying For edification, I drove from Corvallis to Silverton ER after sitting for 4 hours, and we walked right in, and they put her in a room within minutes. This "Hospital," if you can call it that, has no excuses for their lack of ethics and pathetic workflow.
