“Positive reinforcement training! Took our newly adopted shelter dog (staffy/Akita mix) to her class and learned a lot, which has helped immensely with our training of our pup. She was so informative and a kind teacher. She has also been a great resource for issues we've encountered outside of class.“

“My husband and I are retired veterinarians so we were skeptical of Justine's promise to train a dog in 3 lessons, but we needed to act promptly. We are in our mid to late 70s, and we had a six month old male lab who already was over 50 pounds and full of lab energy and power. We would be in danger of severe falls if he wasn't trained soon. Three lessons later we have a dog who quietly heels, sits instantly when you stop, will sit and stay for 10 minutes, and obeys commands such as "come" and "leave it". Turns out Justine knows her stuff, and really understands dog behavior. Of course the pup isn't "done" after just three weeks but Justine gave us the tools for continued success and did the hard part of getting the dog's respect. We recommend her highly if you are really serious about training your dog, and are willing to do the work. The work is demanding and takes commitment. But it is worth every penny.“

“The quality of care here is unquestionably better than at other vets I have taken my animals to. However, you get what you pay for and the price is steep.“

“RD was able to teach me the tools and the confidence to help my dog. I have a mixed breed lab St. Bernard questionable chow chow who was never aggressive. He suddenly became aggressive about 3 years ago and it’s gotten worse where he tried to nip my daughter’s friends and pinned down Neighbor dog. I had to start giving thought to the Possibility of him really hurting someone and the unfortunate result of that. Not only am I able to communicate and understand him better. Our little dog has also followed suit.
Jasper had his last session with RD, although Work will always need to be done and training will always need to be enforced. We have Seen a huge improvement in his behavior. He’s way less stressed. He’s starting to care less about other dogs when we’re on walks and he even stays in his kennel with the door wide open, very pleased with RDs training and support. Highly recommend.“

“Decided to leave the vet factory that is B******d. Brought our boy in for allergies. Turned out it was his food. Skin spray & oral medicine (cytopoint didn't work for him). Amazing care & concern. And these treatments worked! My boy just loves Dr Beedle! A few months later we brought our girl in for an abnormal growth on her abdomen. Dr Rejba was companionate for my concern of cancer. A sample was sent out for testing. If you're concerned about pricing over treatment when it comes to taking care of your sick pet, then you don't deserve a pet! Any kind of healthcare & treatment cost! And it may be $30 more than the factory down the street, but to find staff as caring and attentive as this veterinary office, it's worth every penny! From front office to back, A-MAZ-ING!!“

“Been going here for about a year with my pet. I have mixed feelings about the No appointment policy. On one hand if you can commit to being one of the first in line when the doors open at 8, you can pretty much guarantee your pet will be seen within the hour. But if you cannot do that then it's really a toss up if you'll be able to get your pet same day care. Dr. Pilversack and Dr. Dowell are awesome and I love when they pick up my dog's case. It's hard to rate too critically because most places are short staffed as well and I know that's going to be a factor anywhere you go. All things considered I'll keep taking my pet to Companion for the foreseeable future.“

“Had to take my pup in for stitches and was very worried because she's an anxious dog. Not only was the doctor awesome and very confident in working with an anxious dog but the front desk staff was wonderful. It's a very busy place but no one seemed cranky or snippy. Best experience I've ever had at a vet.“
