A matter of Integrity R&R Roofing is a company with integrity which performs quality work. Here is how we finally found and hired R&R. When we realized that our roof could not be repaired, we had several local companies bid on tear-off and reroof of our 18 year old home. We finally decided on another company, before becoming aware of and checking their CCB record, and placed a sizable down payment with them, with work scheduled to begin four months later. We, along with four other customers, were unable to persuade the contractor to begin work or return our down payment. This went on for over six months; we were then offered half of our down payment - with no work having been done. We filed with the CCB and are currently suing this business. Other contractors seemed perplexed by what the problem actually was with our roof. As each contractor came and went, we were eyeing the calendar and counting the months until the rainy season would begin, as we had a small leak that could possibly become a larger problem - and a larger problem it turned out to be. We followed neighbor and friend recommendations; however, the contractor was either booked through the summer or didn't seem knowledgeable enough to determine what the problem might be. At this point, we didn't know who we could trust. We turned to the telephone book, matching the contractors against their CCB record and reviews. R&R had stellar reviews and a clean CCB record. This being an industry that seems to have few such companies, we decided to invite them to check our roof. They spotted the problem immediately. They outlined cause and effect and the most economical way to avoid problems in the future. They pointed out possible problems that hadn't occurred to us. This is a husband and wife team. They use quality materials and have a fine group of men working with them. Our start date was moved forward and they arrived on time. They cleaned up at the end of each work day. They were available to answer any questions as the project progressed. It was as perfect a home project as we have ever experienced at a reasonable price.
