“I got my hair cut and highlights done by Cati and she was amazing! I have been looking for a stylist and she checked all my boxes. She was easy to talk to, and didn't force a conversation when it fizzled down.. I don't enjoy meaningless conversation for hours, so it meant a lot when she gave me some space.

We went quite a bit lighter on my highlights, and she took the time to explain her process of keeping my hair as healthy as possible when i mentioned i was nervous. I have fine, fragile hair so keeping healthy hair is a must.. and because I like my highlights un-toned she substituted the included toner for a deep conditioner!

“I’ve been going here since Miriam worked here. She WAS my fav. But when she went MIA in 2020 I started seeing Juliana. I definitely like her work. But one day she wasn’t available and O saw Haylee. Omgawd! Her attention to detail? She was as picky with my brows as I am and knew what I was asking without even asking. Knew how to fix something I couldn’t even verbalize. She’s my go to.

That said Juliana is my back up when I can’t get Haylee! She’s great too, and I’d recommend her just as much. She does a really good job, listens, and also knows my brows pretty well. These 2 are phenomenal with the brow work. They both get my arches. Don’t over thread. And I leave happy.

I’m seeing Adrienne today, I feel like I saw her before as well and was happy too. She has excellent reviews so I’m hopeful! It’s been quite sometime since I left unhappy.

There was one time between Miriam and finding Haylee I saw someone else and wasn’t happy- Juliana wasn’t available. I don’t recall who it was but I don’t think she works there anymore.

“I started coming to Urban Colorz when my longtime stylist, Lisa Ernst moved there. Every experience at the salon has been great. They clearly designed every detail with customer comfort in mind, including little pillows in the sink to make hair washing more comfy. It is always clean and bright, all of the people who work there are always smiling and kind. It is quite a drive for me but the experience is worth it.

Regarding Lisa, I've been her client since November 2011. She has been with me through so many major life moments and has cared for my hair throughout. She does an amazing job with both color and cuts. I once had another hairstylist randomly stop me and ask if my color was natural or highlights - when I told her it was highlights, she said "Your stylist did a phenomenal job - that is so natural it looks like the hair growing out of your head". Lisa is always up for a color change or a dramatic haircut, but never lets me try something without talking me through the pros and cons. She isn't just my stylist, I consider her my good friend and feel so fortunate to have her in my life. I referred my dad and stepmom to her as well and they both love her just as much as I do!
