“Julie was an absolute dream of a photographer! We still have been telling us how beautiful our wedding was and how amazing the pictures were. And the pictures were STUNNING. She used color and black and white for the session. She was so amazing to work with and had so much insight for shooting a wedding. When our timeline changed a bit she called me and had a real talk about what that would mean for her timeline. She really wanted to make sure that I knew exactly what we were getting and what I might miss based on when she would start and when she would finish. I am so grateful for that because we talked for a while about it and it helped me see what was important to us and what wasn't. She was super fun and so flexible with everything. Everyone had such a great time with her. She really listened to my needs and wanted to make sure I got everything I wanted and so did my husband. She taught all of us how to position our heads so that we looked as natural as possible. She called it "the chicken" and its now become a staple in my family and friends. It was so fun and it also kept things loose and light and fun. My best friend was a bridesmaid in my wedding and I was one in hers a couple weeks ago. When we were starting to take pictures for her wedding I shouted "remember to chicken" and she started laughing and thanked me so that she didn't move her head up or down or in a way that wasn't natural. Plus it helped her relax a bit. It is such a wonderful memory for a lot of us. There is not a single picture that we did not like from Julie. Our package included several prints and we spent so long trying to figure out which ones we wanted from our package. Another thing that was so important to us was she made she everyone was included and we did not miss a thing. My brother needed to put my nephew down for his nap during some of the groomsmen photos and she made sure to get some with him and my nephew included before the ceremony started. The ceremony shots were just gorgeous and we love being able to relive that moment. She had us do a first touch since we were not seeing each other until the ceremony and those are some of our favorite pictures. That moment made all of my bridesmaids and our moms cry. I will never know how to fully thank her for how she captured my first look with my dad. Those pictures are so sweet and really show how much love is there. Our sweetheart pictures together are just magical. Everyone in our family says all the pictures are beautiful but those are just so sweet and really empathize how much we love each other. One of my favorite parts about her is she really got close in certain moments to capture them. One of those moments was her capturing us putting our rings on. I deeply appreciate her getting those photos because you aren't able to get moments like that from far away. She truly has extensive knowledge about photography and how to capture the best moments. Everyone who has seen our photos has had the same reaction. That the photos are absolutely amazing and perfect. She is definitely someone we will come back to for photography!“
