NOTE: I originally wrote the following review when Erin was at a different location. I've now been seeing her for a year and a half, and she's been the best person I've ever seen. My hair is challenging even as a guy, and I've struggled all my life with people not being able to give me a decent hair cut. Yet Erin manages it easily and goes above and beyond. Throughout this whole time she's shown amazing meticulousness, and never stops learning new ways to improve cutting my hair. I drive a couple hours just to see her because that's how hard it has been for me to find anyone that can do the job. You will absolutely be happy if you choose Erin. ****** Original Review: Throughout my life, I'd gotten used to getting bad haircuts. I have a ton of hair on my head (which is often mentioned to me during haircuts), it grows fast, and it shows very easily when cuts aren't perfect. I used to just deal with it, but earlier this year I switched to a "no shampoo" regimen (water only rinse), which drastically changed my hair. My hair went from a dry, poofy mess and now my hair goes up in the front and actually looks nice. So, I could no longer skate by with crappy haircuts if I wanted to have decent looking hair. I then set out to find a stylist that would be able to give me a proper haircut. Erin was recommended to me by someone, so I made an appointment. Let me tell you, Erin is great! I've been very impressed with every visit. I'll break it down here: - she's been very respectful of my no shampoo regimen (using shampoos or other hair products can interfere with the restored oil balance from not using them) - she's got great instinct regarding hair and provides me suggestions - she always asks questions to make sure she's doing everything the way I want - she always makes sure everything is absolutely perfect the way I want it, but she always gets it spot on to begin with - she always lets me know what it is she's doing - she's intelligent and always learning new things to take her craft to the next level - she's very meticulous and detailed, and makes my challenging hair seem like a breeze to cut - she's also enjoyable company while she is working on my hair If you want a great haircut or styling, you'll be in great hands because Erin is a total pro! She's made me very happy!
