“Professional, well maintained dog hotel. So far the only place we feel comfortable leaving our dog at.“
“The team here really love dogs. Working with them was such a great experience. We have a huge 80-lb lab mix and they have helped him become a working dog--a great support for our son. There is work involved for the owners, and the trainers help you every step of the way. If you put the work in, you will be rewarded with a wonderfully behaved dog. I now understand why people make this investment. And with Sit Means Sit, you get lifelong support and group trainings. It's totally worth it. I had reservations at the beginning, but I am so glad I went through with it. Our dog is no longer pulling on the leash, jumping on people and counters. It's been a great experience.“
“The employees care deeply about my dogs. They were quick and efficient even during a rush when I came to pick up my dogs. I appreciate them managing my dogs and will definitely be bringing them again.“
“Mark gave us some great training and techniques to discourage our golden retriever puppy from biting and nipping. She was overconfident and bratty, and clearly loved the taste of human flesh. Three days later, little Ruby (a.k.a. Rampage) is a different dog. Now she is a sweetheart most of the time. When she does start to throw a tantrum, she listens to the command and dials down quickly. Thanks, Mark! We love not bleeding.“
“I've been taking my Australian Labradoodle there 2 days a week for a year now, and she absolutely loves it there. She is so excited at the entrance and to see the staff.Everyone there is professional, friendly, and show they care about their guests. They also work hard to keep the place clean. The owner does a great job of balancing everything (safety, prices, hours, procedures, etc.). And the app they use is great too.I am confident dropping off my best friend, and feel good she is there. Thank you Ruff House staff!“
“We LOVE Club K9 in Tigard! Milo goes to doggy daycare there almost every day.

They treat my boy like family. He gets individual attention and I know he feels loved.

Everyone who works at Club K9 is friendly and professional.

You won’t have any worries if you put your companion in their care.“
“This was a couple of months back but Risa helped us so much with our little doggo Toby! We were at a lost on how to train him more as we wanted to bring him with us everywhere we go, but he was way too anxious and would constantly bark and panic when outside. Risa gave us a lot of insight into why Toby felt the way he did, and showed us great examples of how to train him. She also took note when he was done, and never pushed him beyond that, and told us to do the same.
We've followed all her trainings the past months and I'm so happy to say Toby is a much more confident pupper than I ever expected him to be! He walks confidently in unknown areas, and by using the "yep" commands well, he's been starting to bark less at people. He loves going outside now! We've been able to bring him to so many places, it's like he's no longer that scared and anxious pup I once saw! He still has much to go, but my family's so happy we can bring Toby now on our adventures. Thank you so much for your help and great training, if we get stuck again and plateau, I'll be sure to call once more :) Great training place everyone!“
“Om Dog Club took great care of my dog during my last trip. They were very responsive and sent lots of updates and photos. Additionally, Whitney did a great job training my dog during a two week board and train!“
“There aren't enough stars to give Windy and her crew at Pounce Play and Stay. They took excellent care of my much loved Mr Fancypants, who is 12 years old, for an extended stay-- just about 3 months(!). They sent pictures and updates many times a week. Even though this was such a long stay away from home, our kitty came home happy, healthy and not holding a grudge :). I can't say enough good things about Windy and her team. Great care, communication, and just really nice folks who take excellent care of kitty cats.“
“Finding Wes at Canine Class Room was such a relief in our dog training journey. His methods were easy to understand and implement, and we saw immediate results with just 20 minutes of daily practice. It felt almost too simple given the significant improvement in our dog's behavior. He and his Dad have been in the industry for years, so they have the real world experience to know what works well and what to avoid. If you're looking for a dog trainer who can truly make a difference, Wes is your guy.“
“Virgil and Ligia are the owners and are simply amazing. I have been taking Bernice on and off since winter 2020 and then Stuart since Spring 2023 and my babies have a good time. They love Virgil and Ligia and come home tired. My babies are taken care and I know they are in safe hands. We are moving out of the neighborhood but I will still bring them on occasion when I can.“
“Staff very friendly and helpful. Recognized pets names and needs. Definitely Dog lovers“
“So many good things to say about this daycare! From the trained, experienced and caring behaviorists to the cleaning protocols, this is the best place I've ever experienced in over 25 years of dog parenting. I know my dog kiddos are safe and well cared for. Their instagram page clearly shows how they see each of their dog clients as individuals and always strive to do what's best for each and have tons of fun along the way. Additionally, I have had both of my 2-year old female labradoodle/GSD mixed breed dogs (they're littermates) in training for the last several months so I must do a special shout out to the in-house trainer, Nakita Johnson. Nakita zeroed in on my girls' individual talents, strengths, and training needs and designed training for each of them that has surpassed my expectations. She provides detailed instruction and feedback and happily answers ALL my questions. My dogs have gained obedience as well as fun 'tricks' but what really stands out to me is how calm and confident they are. Doggone Fun! really is their second home now.“
“Nicole Flowers is an excellent dog trainer. I highly recommend her services for any type of issue you and your dog are facing. I am with a Weimaraner rescue organization and we have hired Nicole to help us help dogs in foster and adoptive homes, and even to help dog owners who were considering surrendering their dogs to us when what they needed was a good trainer to help them. Common issues we hire Nicole for are leash reactivity, dog aggression, over protective with human, and obsessive/compulsive behavior (with people and food).Nicole's strengths are:* Experience - she has seen it all and been involved in animal training for many years.* Creative solutions - she does not presume to have the immediate solution; she spends time with the dog to understand the issue and then considers what will most likely work and modifies the training as she goes along. The results to her approach are amazing!* Professionalism, reliability and communication. Nicole listens very well to each detail the dog owner provides and explains her training approach so it is easy to follow for someone not familiar with dog training.I can truly say that in several cases where we hired Nicole, I do not know what we'd have done without her. In every case she made a positive impact for the dog and the people involved. 100% success in every case.“
“Rose City Veterinary as been my Vets for almost 20 years. They're like family. And I really appreciate them all!“
“I can't say enough about this company, or their trainers/behavioralists. My partner and I worked with Jennifer and Caroline, and they were truly our angels as we navigated the very sad and confusing road of trying to manage our loving, yet aggressive/reactive dog. The damage caused by our rescue (who has normally sweet and submissive) was repetitive and severe enough that we eventually settled on behavioral euthanasia to prevent more harm to both family and strangers. And, as a mercy to our little guy who could not make peace with the world due to severe abuse he experienced in his past. This decision was only made after a LOT of other steps, time, safety measures, considerations, consultations, etc. were made. The decision to move forward with BE is one I would NEVER wish on my worst enemy. Almost a month later, our hearts are still very much broken over the loss, and there is a lot of guilt/shame that goes along with the overall sense of grief. It feels very different than euthanizing a pet who is physically suffering or in pain. Caroline gave us so much support, love, encouragement, and resources during this time. She never judged us, made us feel guilty, or made us feel that we were failing our dog. I don't think we could have navigated this horrible situation without her. And, to me, that matters so much more than someone being helpful and supportive during the "good times." I'll never forget this group of incredible people, and will forever be grateful to them for all the compassion and care they gave to me, my family, and my loyal friend and companion, UNO.“
“Our 15 y/o cat was terminally ill and had to be put down. I didn’t want his long time Vet/staff who’d developed a relationship with him to have to do it so a friend recommended Oswego Vet. Dr. Naomi and her assistant were so respectful and kind and came to our home to make it less stressful for all of us. The treatment was humane and gentle.A few days later, Dr. Naomi sent a handwritten sympathy card with his (ink) paw prints. And then they sent separate card to say that a tree had been donated in his honor to the Arbor Day foundation. I’m so moved and grateful and can’t say enough good things about this practice. They made a horrible decision more bearable. I’m so pleased that there’s a little tree out there with GIR’s name on it??“
“Janelle is the best. My dog is reactive and she handles him very well. His visits are stress free for both of us.“
“My parents have known Tanner for over 15 years as my childhood dog (Webster ❤️?) went to 4 Paws anytime we went out of town. My husband and I were nervous for anyone else to take care of our 2 husky mixes, but we decided on 4 Paws based on my parent’s recommendation and experiences with them in the past. We came back to happy, healthy dogs. Happy to know that we can trust 4 Paws when we need someone to watch our furry family members. Thank you!!“
“I have known Kathryn for over 10 years. She took care of my two westies -- and was wonderful with them. She has a passion for pets and was so good with them.“
“Kate is a wonderful person and great dog trainer. Her wealth of knowledge and super fun classes make for a safe and well rounded class for both pups and parents. Can’t wait to continue our training with her!Happy Pup!“
“I had the best experience with Molly. She helped me raise my mastiff puppy into a gentle, well-mannered, and well-adjusted big guy. She provided valuable insights and creative solutions during challenging developmental stages, and also equipped me with the tools to read his behavior and resolve challenges on my own. Molly completely changed the way I understand dog training -- she helped me raise a dog who's a good listener because he trusts and respects me, not because he fears me or consequences. She's also a kind human being, clear and direct communicator, and a joy to work with. 100% recommend.“
“How do we love thee let me count the ways. James has been one of those rare and precious discoveries in life. He's the puppy and puppy parent whisperer. For us and in our chaotic world of work and middle school he's been our guide through the depths of puppy hell and heights of joy. He's organized and professional, preparing for our sessions with print offs with homework and next steps for our training binder he gave us. He's filled gaps in getting my two high energy boys daily walks and socialization. He's there when I'm texting in tears after they've fear-peed on our couch, chewed my fave stillies, and I've returned from chasing them down in my bed tee and bare feet after they escaped through an open door. Alas all of these frights and frustrations are par for the adopting-two-puppies-at-once course and becoming less frequent thanks to James and his deep understanding of dog behavior and how ours affects them in all the ways. He's patient, responsive, and always offering different ways to connect and understand our boys. His permission to go at their pace and let them be idiots now and then has been possibly the most appreciated. We're in our third training course (boys are 9 mos and 13 mos), both group and private, and seeing a light at the end of this stuffing filled tunnel. We all adore James and are grateful that he's a part of our village:)“
“Highly recommended; they understand dogs, and use only positive methods. I foster dogs from China and Taiwan for Golden Bond Rescue. I'm not inexperienced with training, but one dog was extremely fear-aggressive with other people and very unsafe. Brittany worked with us a couple of times, and with some practice we were able to change her behavior completely. She got a wonderful home. Not inexpensive, but effective.“
“We have a Dutch shepherd who is a wonderful pet to us. He is a bit dog aggressive and as such finding appropriate boarding for him is a bit of a challenge. We called multiple kennels and got a recommendation from an other kennel (high end dog spa) to take our dog to CMK because their owner who also has a challenging dog takes theirs there as well. We were very pleased from intake to pickup. We were a bit nervous because of the other review mentioning their lost cat. I do find it a bit abusive for that person years later to continue to harass this small business. Mistakes happen - i run a business myself. Get over it and move on! Thank you CMK for taking care of our Pooch! Lastly their pricing is very reasonable for the service offered. (Pictures below are of our Bastian having a good time in their yard - he’s a bit of a prancer :-) )“
