Doctor Josh and staff are absolutely wonderful! My dentist retired so I asked my neighbors for dentist recommendations and I heard wonderful things about Hazelnut Dental so scheduled my appointment with Doctor Josh. From my first call with his assistant to schedule my appointments, to today when he replaced two of my crowns, I could not be more pleased. As someone with an unnatural fear of dental work, specifically the numbing shots, today was the first time I had a painless experience getting injectable numbing shots! Dr. Kim changed how my family sees dental care. I hadn't been to a dentist in over XX years because of bad experiences (it would be embarrassing to say exactly how long!). Dr. Kim is kind and patient, and he makes us feel comfortable. He's great with kids, and now my three children understand why going to the dentist is important. They don't have the fears I did. Dr. Kim treats his patients like family. He educates and informs without any judgment--even when I ask questions I once felt embarrassed to ask. Dr. Joshua Kim is amazing. Before I moved to this area, I had the same dentist since I was a child. When I moved my old dentist told me to find a dentist that wasn't going to give you a filling just because. When I met Dr. Kim, he was very professional, took photos of my teeth and without being prompted said, " we will wait until your next visit to see what needs to be done, I don't want to give people filling just because." I have been back there regularly for my 6 month visits, and have got to know him more and more. IF you want to go to a place that feels like family, go to Hazelnut Dental and work with Dr. Joshua Kim.
