I’ve been a customer of American Home Shield since I bought my home 4 years ago. While dealing with AHS can be a serious headache, I cannot say enough good things about Clean Air Act, the HVAC company they contract with. I’ve needed service on my unit for the past 3 years, same issue every time, the system would stop working. AHS kept patching it with quick fixes and charging me service fees, never truly solving the problem. This year, the unit gave out again, and I was fortunate that Jason from Clean Air Act was assigned to my service request. He had worked on it the year before, and his knowledge, skill, and professionalism once again came through. Thanks to Jason’s recommendation, I pursued an upgrade program through AHS (cue more frustration). Thankfully, Ashley at Clean Air Act stepped in and helped me navigate the entire upgrade process. She was a total lifesaver, knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely kind through all the stress, delays, and runaround from AHS. Two days ago, Eugene and Andrew installed my brand new AC unit. They worked so hard, and I was incredibly appreciative, but the system still didn’t work after install due to two other issues. Fast forward to today, Clean Air Act sent out an electrician and, to my relief, Jason returned as well. After a few hours of work (and magic), the AC is finally working! I’m sitting here now, cooling down for the first time all summer. Special thanks to Victoria for always booking my appointments quickly and efficiently, Eugene and Andrew for their dedication during installation, Ashley for being an absolute rock during the most stressful parts of this journey, and of course Jason, who has shown up time and time again to help and truly made this all possible. If I ever drop AHS (and trust me, I’ve considered it), Clean Air Act will be the first company I call directly. They’ve earned my trust, respect, and gratitude. I can't recommend them enough!
Was having issues with my furnace and heatpump networking properly. Josh came out to assess the units and discovered the wall thermostat was the real problem. No upselling just good old honest customer service and I can rest knowing I'll be warm this winter. Good folks to do business with.
