Astoria Grooming Inc., led by the wonderful groomer Mitch, is a business that has been serving the north coast for over 30 years. They provide a safe, fun, and loving environment for pets, with a clean facility and friendly, professional groomers. Mitch is known for his incredible passion for his work and his true love of animals. He is skilled in customizing his services to meet the unique needs of each pet. For example, he takes care of dogs right away if they have traumas from being in cages, and he is patient with dogs who are terrified of getting their nails done or are skittish. Mitch's shop may be small, but it is a perfect size to avoid heavy duty barking and added stress for the pets. Many customers, even those who do not live in Astoria, trust Mitch for grooming their dogs due to his exceptional skills and genuine care for animals.
Mitch is absolutely wonderful working with my dog. I took Kobe in for a bit of a trim & nails clipped. Kobe goes berserk when put in a cage so as soon as I drop him off Mitch takes care of him right away to avoid the trauma. I don't live in Astoria but visit several times a year. Mitch is the only person I'm going to trust when it comes to grooming my King canine
Mitch is/was amazing!!! Took my baby in for a nail trim, badly needed, & he couldn't have treated my Kobe better. I asked abt a grooming appt, having not been able, due to Covid, to get him in anywhere near McMinnville. Am visiting in town, & luckily Mitch had an opening the day after. Kobe has long hair & was in desperate need of a "do". I couldn't be happier with the result & don't hesitate, at all, recommending trusting your fur baby with him. He's kind, gentle, & obviously caring about how he treats his customers. His prices are in line with other groomers & 1 of the things I love the best is that he doesn't have dozens of dogs there at the same time, which adds, big time, more stress for my baby. Love you Mitch & will gladly make the trip over here when Kobe is in need of services you offer - Barbara & Kobe
