The staff here was friendly, kind, and punctual, texting me an update that they were running 10 minutes behind (which was a small detail, but which I appreciated as very respectful). The salon is intimate, but felt calm and tranquil. I’m very happy with my services received and look forward to returning in the future!

My son who has spd and adhd has been really scared to get his hair done by anybody. We've usually had to wait a long time between hair cuts. I (mom) usually do them. He turned 13 the end of last year and hadn't cut his hair for like a year. It was down past his shoulders. He agreed to try this barber shop. There was a redheaded barber (sorry forgot your name) that was there and did such an amazing job not only on the cut but handling my non stop talking teen (he gets really talkative when nervous). My son kept saying how much he was enjoying the experience and wants to go back. Thank you sooooo much for making his experience a good one. Now he can get his hair cut more than once a year. I appreciate the patience and understanding. 100/100

I should have left a review a long time ago, really thought I did, maybe on another platform. Debbie has been cutting my hair for a while now. It's a barber shop, not a salon. You go there to get a hair cut, eyebrows trimmed, and/or beard trimmed. It's what one expects, desires and hopes for from a barber shop. It's what others places should strive to be. The prices are fair, the quality of the work is exceptional and Debbie is a superstar. I met a man this morning who drove all the way from Halsey to get a hair cut. He's been coming here since the 70s. This place is a landmark and we'll all be a bit sad, whenever Debbie retires. I wish I could give more than 5-stars. Thanks again!

I belonged to another tanning salon for years. This one is absolutely better. The equipment must be newer or different than the other salon because I get far better results.
Young lady at front desk VERY POLITE! We needed a restroom badly and the Chevron station next door car wash was closed that had the bathrooms. The man at the station said try next door. If I'm ever in Albany again and need a tan this will be my first goto. People, manners and being nice to others STILL WORKS.

This was my first appointment with Alba Nails to have a full set of nails and polish done in preparation for my trip to the UK. The technicians were both wonderfully friendly and made me feel welcome. They both are truly talented nail artists as well. The service and friendly atmosphere is the best. My first time here, but I absolutely plan on coming back! The woman who did my dip powder manicure (I regret that I forgot to ask her name) was so sweet, and she paid such great attention to detail. She was very thorough with my manicure, and even made sure to let me know the color I chose would show up pretty light/sheer to make sure that was what I wanted. I paid $40 for my dip powder manicure and frankly, I think they're undercharging for the quality of their work. Thank you!!

Start from the top. My stylist was Ashley. Appointments are made online. So for this review, I just need to say that telephoning and make an appointment for older folks (or at least this older lady) is easier or at least what we I am used to. So it wasn't ideal but I'm getting that perm! Arrived at the salon, it's in a really nice quiet spot, which is a preference for me. I waited only a few minutes before Ashley came out and got me. And then there was an interesting kind of walk-through maze to get where we needed to go. We were the only ones there in the back for a few minutes until another lady showed up who was a stylist. It was just very quiet and not very busy. It looked to me like maybe just a slow day. Ashley was very nice. She asked me what kind of perm I was looking for and I hadn't had a perm since I was a kid so about 30 years ago and we figured it out. Then she took me to the bowl, washed my hair and took me back and rolled me up. When it was all over and done with (less than half an hour) I was very pleasantly surprised. Now this was my first perm like I said in 30 years, and I had a couple spots that if I really wanted to take the time and go back and have her correct a couple places I could've done that but I think overall I chose not to do that for two reasons. First I wanted to take my time with this new opportunity and work with my hair that is normally very straight for the most part with a permanent and second I really feel like I could live with it. I had a straight area in the front and the back was definitely not, as curled as I was wanting. Now the kicker. I absolutely am going back to get another perm. I love my hair. It's super fun. I can blow it out straight and it has lots of body that it didn't used to have and I really love the it! It's fun like I said, and it's definitely something that I want to keep. I don't think I'll go back to straight hair again. It has been the end of May that I got my perm and there's still plenty of life in it. I will probably go back in the next couple of months for another perm. My hair wasn't damaged and it wasn't frizzy and it was overall a really great experience. The reason why I gave four out of five stars is that the salon was a little dusty, there wasn't much product to look at for someone like myself who has not been in the hairstylist game for a long time and I was looking for more support from the staff. I felt like they should've/could've been more proactive in that area instead of me needing to ask questions and then I kind of felt dumb so I just stopped where I was and I didn't ask any more questions about product or anything else like that. With all of the above mentioned in mind, I absolutely would suggest locks and lashes and like I said I'll be returning.

I don’t know where to begin with this review without making it super long. This was my first experience at this salon. Recommended to me by a friend. When I first arrived the hours posted said 10AM however I did find out that each service provider will go in at their own times as they are independent. So the receptionist is not there until 10AM. But you will be able to walk in.
I was greeted by a kind woman in the nail station. And she asked who I was seeing. I decided to try the body polish with Katelyn Pittman. I waited a few minutes and she came up the stairs and introduced herself and shook my hand. She was informative and explained the entire service what products she would be using and benefits.
She took her time on each section of my body and even did my feet! There is a shower after the salt scrub. And then she went back over my body again with an oil that made me smell amazing. I felt like I had four massages.
Next, I met Mary Kate for two waxes. She was incredible and friendly. We chatted the entire time like she wasn’t even waxing me. I felt so comfortable. Her energy is unmatched,( not that fake feel) she gave me some great information about how to care for my skin better. It was the perfect service.
I would highly recommend both of these ladies after this experience today. I will be back again. They both take their time, know when to engage with clients and when not too. I can tell they both care about making it a perfect relaxing experience. I feel they went above and beyond. Thank you!

Aria is the only place I go for facials and back treatments. I love the owner-made products (for the treatment, to take home, and to give as gifts) and how private the studio is. I go for "me time" or with a friend, and either way we always have the whole place to ourselves. I always feel pampered, and the results with my skin are excellent.

Amazing Company - Lifesavers!
We were without water for two weeks because of a water main break, and Stutzman Services really showed up, literally, when we needed them to! They were super quick to respond and had everything fixed within two days. I can’t even explain how relieved we are to finally have water again!
The team was friendly, kept us updated, and made the whole process a lot less stressful than we expected. They really knew what they were doing and got the job done fast.
If you need plumbers who are reliable and get things done right, definitely give Stutzman a call. They were so awesome! Great service and really took pride in their work.
Very professional. Great service and quick response. Cleared 2 blocked toilets back to back within an hour. Put me immediately at ease vs other plumber that came out. Total charge under $250.00. A plumbing company I had out earlier that day would charge $275.00 just to lift the toilet. Another $350.00/hour to run a camera down the drain if needed. Stated that there was not enough room to run a snake in the full height basement with a drain cleanout installed in a tight space next to a hot water tank. The layout was designed as part of the original building plans and building code. I could certainly run a snake through the outlet. Then he went on to say he thought because two toilets were plugged that the blockage was probably between the toilets and the street. The cost could run up to $1,000 or more. I asked him to leave that I would get another opinion and estimate. We were under pressure to have the drains fixed. I felt like he was feeling me out as to prices. Emergency or not, I will have to be sure to ask about pricing before hand. But, I will always call American Rooter first.
After the ice storm our water heater gave out and while 4 others weren't able to make it out 4 days later, Weis was out within hours. Stand up job from these guys!
Excellent customer service and professional work! Jason was out to replace my outdoor hose valves and did a great job! One went the easy way and the other went the hard way forcing him to crawl under the house. He crawled through the tightest crawl space known to man and got it completed! Im a very happy customer!
I have used Linn Benton plumbing for all my plumbing needs and have never been disappointed. Today was no exception. Dillon showed up right on time, was extremely polite and grasped the nature of my complex ( at least four separate issues) plumbing problem right away. He explained the causes of the problems in a way l could understand and came up with three options to deal with the issues. He tried hard to save me money and pointed out ways l could do this. I am very impressed with his professionalism and his immediate grasp of the situation. He obviously loves his job and that was a real plus. I look forward to having this work completed.

Very good place to get hardwood for any building project. Nice selection of maple, alder, ash, and poplar. They had many more racks of wood but I didn't look at them. They have an import 3/4 plywood that is finished and sealed. Works great for kitchen cabinets since it doesn't split out with a dado blade.

We hired McHenry to do new bathrooms in an 80s house. They had solid quotes, good ideas, and beautiful materials. The folks who worked on the project were all professional, respectful, and talented. I'd have them back for any project in a heartbeat. The only criticism is have is that scheduling and communication through the office can be spotty. Don't let that deter you because their work is fabulous.

I noticed some things that hadn't been done and contacted Ignacio. He didn't bother to make contact and take care of my concerns. we're getting our yard ready to sell our home. He told me not to worry, he would take care of it. There are still weeds and grass in some flower beds. He failed to treat the yard for moss. I was counting on him to do a good job . He was in such a hurry to get it done that he just didn't seem to care. Our utility room was flooded because the dog door was open. Our bathroom got wet because the window was open. He should have e come to the door to have that taken care of. Nope, he left, asked for his money and that was it . He didn't respond to me and I certainly would not recommend him. He charges per job and he made a bundle of of us, who are retired and over 70... UPDATE:. Ignacio called me today. He misunderstood what I had asked him to do, so, we will not worry about it. I will receive a receipt and all will fine .

Just wanted to share what an amazing experience our family had at Calapooia Family Dental with Dr. Summers and his team. Our son with autism had to have a root canal and crown placement under general anesthesia, and Dr. Summers and his team did an amazing job making sure our son was cared for and comfortable over the course of his treatment. From the front staff to the hygienists to Dr. Summers, they are professional, caring and kind. Can’t recommend enough how great a practice this is! Thank you!

I contacted Complete Dental Health and expected the same nonsense the rest told me. However; I was told he could come in the next day for an emergency lookup.
When we got there the only issue I had wad finding the entrance lol
They were so kind, so amazing, accommodating. They helped him, checked his bad tooth. Tested it. Gave us options. Had no issues with me being there or my two kids. Gave us all chairs to sit in. They were amazing! Amazing! My husnand had a chance to have his tooth pulled and they were gentle.

My husband and I needed a new dentist when we moved to Albany, and I am so glad we found Mid-Valley.I have a complicated medical and dental history, but Dr. Reynolds wasn't phased and has been so helpful in dealing with the issues that have come up in my short time as a patient of theirs.My husband is less complicated but has a few issues leftover from a previous dentist that still need to be resolved, and again Dr. Reynolds jumped right in. The man knows his stuff!The most amazing thing to me is that Dr. Reynolds was able to extract a tooth with ONLY waking sedation and numbing. I've had a number of procedures in the past and have NEVER been able to get through it without significant pain, unless nitrous was used. Which put me in the weird position of having to call around desperately seeking a dentist that is well versed in using nitrous to prevent pain, rather than anxiety (which is what my old dentist used it for and for some reason this meant that they REFUSED to turn the nitrous up when I was still in pain, so now I DO have anxiety about dental procedures, thanks guys) every time I needed more than a cleaning.Mid-Valley uses nitrous but they don't like to use it in addition to other sedatives, which I didn't find out until I was in the chair ready to go. The oral sedative they gave is one I've taken before and I SWORE it wouldn't be enough. I was panicking a little but the dental assistant (whose name I didn't catch) was so kind, she offered me a stress ball and said just let us know if the pain is too much and we'll stop and figure it out.You guys. Other than one very quick sharp pain, I felt almost nothing. I don't know what kind of sorcery they taught at Dr. Reynolds' dental school but this man literally pulled something out of my head with nothing more than some Halcion and Lidocaine. I was starting to think that I was immune to those numbing shots but apparently I just saw a string of terrible dentists.Last but not least, their office staff is phenomenal. Quick, patient, and personable. They've texted me more than once which I really appreciate (I don't know what it is with millennials and phone calls but texting is just so much easier!) and have gotten me in for same or next day appointments every time something urgent has come up.I just can't say enough good things!
They are really good at cleaning and they have a very quick fix for whatever you have. However, don't expect much since they are not specialists. I like the nurse she is friendly.

I cannot begin to explain what Dr. Brown and his team have done for me. I have struggled with severe neck and shoulder pain for years. Was diagnosed with degenerative disc. I always had painful tension knots. After my first Wave treatment with Dr. Brown, I felt instant relief. Continued to be pain free for 3 days. After my second treatment, I was pain free for over a week. I had another treatment today and may or may not need to get another treatment in a few months. Dr. Brown and his staff have given me my life back. I cannot express how much this new therepy works. I get emotional talking about it because for the first time in years I am pain free. Dr. Saboe changed my life. I have been suffering from chronic neck, back and jaw pain for over 10 years. It was hard finding a quality provider who accepts OHP, and after finding Dr. Saboe the search was over. From the moment I came into his office, I felt the uplifting light presence that he and his son bring to his office. Though I never got to meet his son, his presence is still there and you can feel the love. Dr. Saboe is very knowledgeable and knows how to handle complex cases like ehlors danlos syndrome and temporomandibular joint dysfunction. Over my time seeing him, I started to feel relief in my neck, back & jaw pain, and I had very little hope that I would ever feel better. My musculature was also greatly improved by his treatment using combination ultrasound/high volt pulsed galvanic muscle stimulation. This therapy changed my body drastically and I am so grateful that he offered me this therapy. He has so much compassion for his patients and goes out of his way to make sure they get the care they need.

Our family has been taking our pets to Albany Animal Hospital for over 20 years. The friendly staff are top notch. I ask for Dr. Ken Fletcher each time I make an appointment. If he is not available, I know I am still in good hands with the other qualified vets in the office. I have never had a bad experience. Dr. Fletcher is friendly, knowledgeable and explains everything well, and always includes my kids in the visit conversations.
Dr Hayes is absolutely fantastic with my many cats. Dr Gray is a wonderful surgeon and saved my kitty. Thank you!
About 2 years ago, our 14 year old Chihuahua had a seizure, out of nowhere...I called the vet we'd been using for all our dogs over the previous 20 years and told them what happened. Her response, "Well we close in about 10 minutes so we won't be able to help you. I told her I could be there in about 5 minutes, but same response. I hung up and called Reid's clinic and the person asked me to bring my little buddy in. They waited for us and after checking him out, recommended we go to the emergency clinic in Corvallis so they could keep an eye on him and run tests to determine the cause. They (Reid's) didn't charge us a dime and we headed to Corvallis. We were there all night, and ended up putting my little Louie down. It was a long sad night, but Reid's now takes care of our new puppy. Couldn't be happier. I don't want to name our previous vet, but they will never see our pets again. Reid's is fantastic.

After the first visit, I wasn’t sure if I was going to return as the cut was a little choppy, and I noticed one of her nails had been cut too deep, through the quick However, accidents can happen and I decided to try again one more time (showing the same inspo pictures) to let them know what I liked and didn’t. And I’m so happy after the 2nd visit! Look at the difference! The groomer even added little pink bows on her head ? thank you!If you visit and wasn’t happy, definitely communicate with your groomer and give them another chance! It makes a huge difference!
My dogs were in dire need of a proper nail trim due to the neglect of another groomer. I found the Albany Pet Hotel while researching for a new establishment to take my pets. They offer walk-in nail trims on certain days/times without an appointment. My dogs were immediately greeted and taken back for their trim. The prices were very reasonable as well.
I browsed through the pamphlet for the doggy daycare, boarding, grooming services, and playgroups. Most of the prices are listed in the pamphlet and signs on the counter. I'm considering some of their other services in the near future and will return for additional grooming services. I'd recommend the Albany Pet Hotel. They were very loving and gentle with our babies!

Our golden retriever/poodle mix has been going to Paradise every 8 weeks for almost 2 years now and I cannot overstate how wonderful they are!! Darrow always looks incredible and we are absolutely thrilled with the service 100% of the time. I don’t know what magic they’re working, but Darrow actually loves going to the groomer and is so excited to be there every time we walk through the door. He looks and smells like a dream and we are so grateful that they take such good care of him.
On multiple occasions while we’re out for walks I’ve had people pull over in their cars to ask us where we get him groomed because he looks so fantastic. If that’s not a testament to the skill at Paradise, I don’t know what is!
Whether we’re keeping him nice and short for swimming all summer, or a bit longer to stay warm in the winter, they always make sure Darrow is the most handsome boy! A million stars to Paradise!! Best groomers out there!
