“We'd like to share a short note about MINT Roofing, the assistance they offered and the work they did for us.<br>In 2018, our 8 year old home lost quite a number of shingles during a windstorm. Several of our neighbours were in the same situation. They elected to have their roofs patched but not replaced. We felt unwilling to 'sweat every windstorm' that might come along. And so we began to interview roofers and decided upon MINT.<br>Everyone we met presented themselves as professional and knowledgeable. Owner Chris was generous with his time and expertise. Our home was shingled in two days, underlayment was applied, vents were upgraded and we even had sun tunnels installed. The shingles were warrantied for 50 years. Such a relief to not worry about when next they might fly!<br>However, around 2022 we began to notice a colour change on large swatches of our shingles. We spent the next year or so questioning whether or not we had a problem (!) Late in 2023 we called Chris and told him our thoughts. Within a week he was out to look at our roof. He then called in the shingle manufacturer's Ontario Liaison. Both men agreed that something was amiss - and that we should submit a warranty claim. Chris and Mike shepherded us through the process (forms to be completed, samples to be taken and sent). After several months our claim was verified as valid and the company underwrote the entire replacement of our singles. Again, it took 2 days to have an entirely new roof. The work was done professionally, as before and we are more than pleased.<br>One small event occurred wherein a delivery vehicle leaked oil on several spots on our driveway. We did not not notice it right away but in fact the roofers did and reported it to their office. The company responsible did not step up to help mitigate the problem...but MINT Roofing took it upon themselves to have our drive resealed with a protective coating at their own expense.<br><br>What can we say? This company is truly a gem. We thank each of them for the way in which they conduct themselves, for their professionalism and friendliness.
