Staff was very helpful answering my questions during registration. Facilities are kept clean. Lane swims are plentiful. The sauna should be hotter. It was hotter in the past so maybe it was just an anomaly today.
I've only recently started going to the YMCA to get in better shape. I've never had any issues with the equipment or needing to wait to use anything.
My only complaint is that the gym area feels super super hot every time I'm there. It honestly doesn't feel like the AC is on high. There's 1 industrial fan that I've seen, so if you're able to face that towards yourself, it's not too bad.
I like this gym. Pretty easy going and really worth it if you can dodge busy times. Lots of good equipment that’s always well maintained. Mainly an older crowd which is expected knowing that the younger folks are likely at World Gym or Fit4Less. No complaints with the Y ?
