As a person who has both lost their hair and recently grown the best hair of her adult life, let me just say: Romeo Aveda is the *best* overall experience I have had at a salon, ever. From the moment you book in, at any location (I go the most to the Kitchener location), every staff member treats you with conscientiousness, deep care, individual attention, complete professionalism and respect. See this photo of my hair done by the absolutely amazing Laura, my Romeo stylist and hair colourist today at the Kitchener location: Here, Laura applied a pinwheel technique, adding three very different colours to my hair. What sets Laura apart is that she listens to what I need so intently, that she manages to make my colour fabulously vibrant while keeping my hair unbelievably strong and thick. Before I saw Laura, I did semi-regular balayage which would dry out my hair and quickly fade. But with Laura’s impeccable guidance and relentless dedication to her craft, I have been able to turn my dry and impossible curly hair into a bright and powerful look in any style that keeps my hair totally stylish and safe. I will honestly be seeing Laura until I am an old lady, the way she colours hair is beyond my wildest dreams! About me: I book absolutely everything here! From colour (Laura is phenomenal and simply put, an unmatched artist), curl cuts (Massimo is brilliant and responsible for my hair not only growing back but being the thickest of my whole life!), wavy hair rehabilitation (Jennifer helped me not only get my curl back when I lost my hair, but really helped repair the wave I thought was gone!) and gorgeous blowouts (Nico is the best person who has ever blown out my hair; he is gentle and so careful/caring that he makes it possible to get regular blowouts and have amazing, hydrated curls!). The staff there are not about rushing through service to book the largest amount of clients or trying hard to sell the most amount of product, rather, each and every one of the people who work here are guided by a genuine love of every person who comes through the door. This makes Romeo and their staff an absolute treasure that is very precious and rare.
