“I can't believe that I didn't know about this technology. My friend who is an engineer recently told be about Aeroseal. I have a 3-storey home and the temperature would vary by as much as 4 degrees between floors. The 2nd storey bedrooms at the back of the house and the top floor, which are furthest from the furnace were always cold in the winter and hot in the summer.The friendly and informative Aeroseal technicians came to my house today. They provide detailed reports of the pressure loss and airflow before, during, and after sealing and balancing.The results:It is now minus 10 degrees outside. I have my thermostat set to 21.5. It is currently 21.5 on all 3 floors of my house! To say that I'm impressed would be an understatement.On top of that, the humidity level in my home increased by 3 percentage points. In cold temps, our home was usually very dry because the furnace had to work so hard to keep up and humidity created by the humidifier was lost through the ducts.I can only presume that my heating and cooling bills will be lower going forward now that nearly 100% of the air is flowing to the vents.Anyone with forced air heating or air conditioning should do this.
