Great salon; the owner, Anna, has had a salon on the Danforth for 25 years and has been doing my hair for over 20 years. She is very experienced and amazing with colour…I get compliments from strangers all the time.
I had my hair cut here for the first time last week, after far too long since my last professional haircut elsewhere (i.e. years!)Anna did what I've not been fortunate enough to have experienced very much in the past. She actually listened and cut my hair to the length and style that I said I wanted, rather than going for a more drastic change than discussed.Not to diminish the important of her technical skills (which are excellent) but for me, the fact that I can trust the person holding the scissors to do what they've described at the start of the consultation is by far the most important thing.
I have very fine and straight hair and have aways worn it short & wispy. During covid - like many people - my hair grew longer and I discovered that 'yes' I can wear my hair longer.However, I've not been happy with my cuts of late and was growing my last cut out.I had an appointment today with Kathy @ Vaffi and I explained to her what I was envisioning --Kathy told me that of course I could wear my hair longer -- during the styling, I watched her work with such precision and taking her time.I left with exactly what I was hoping for!!
