We had a lovely & relaxing time at the St Regis spa. The pool & whirlpool were a great bonus, as was the relaxing lounge area with complimentary snacks & drinks. The staff was extremely welcoming & the facilities were excellently taken care of. This is a great spot for a mini spa getaway within the city.

North America 5-star is like 4-star in Asia. Facilities are adequate but nothing feels quite luxurious here. Very basic toileteries and facilities need an uplift. They were also not refilled quickly.
“Relaxation” lounge: the space is so tiny, you can’t relax if there are more than 3 people, especially if 2 keep chatting loudly. Snacks are pretty mediocre, water is not hot enough to steep the tea. Pool: the pool and the area are small with fake marble. When I arrived, there were towels and cups remaining from previous guests. The cleaner also emptied a cup someone left behind into the pool water! ?
The place is great. Laura was amazing at the spa reception and also our RMTs Aida and Alyssa. The service was professional and the staff went above and beyond. Everything went smoothly and was a great experience.
The only thing that left a sour experience was adding an auto grat of 18% on the bill without asking and just saying we had added it. There is no mention of this on the website or during reservation inquiries.
And not only myself, but many people below in the comments mentioned the same so I guess the spa must revise its process and let customers decide what they want to or do not want to pay Grats as they are not mandatory... read full review
