I have for many years searched for options for a tiny space that provided a couch and bed combination. My criteria for the couch was that it did not sit too low and that it did not have loose cushions in the back. Further, I desired a Murphy bed that was not awkward to open/close as I imagine as I age, it may not be so easy to lift or let down. Other models I had seen elsewhere had sharp edges, quality seemed lacking, and I struggled to open or close.
The best option I found after much research was the Oslo combination at Resource Furniture. RF was a store a friend had told me about a number of years ago.

We recently purchased a murphy bed from Resource. Melissa provided us with excellent assistance and service. I'm not going to lie, the bed was on the expensive side which made me a bit nervous - but the style and craftmanship are superb - and the installation guys were fast, clean and professional. We love our new murphy bed and look forward to doing business with Melissa/Resource in the future.
