After we met another interior designer who made us feel rushed and unheard, a friend recommended Julie. From day one, we knew that we had found the right designer! She spent a great amount of time getting to know our family (with three young kids and two dogs!), our house and what we we were looking for in the finished product. She presented us with a plan that was practical for our busy family, unique and pushed us out of our comfort zone. Throughout our project, Julie always listened to our needs, offered us multiple options and was incredibly patient with us. Julie made the process fun and stress-free. We are already planning other projects with Julie! We cannot recommend her enough.

I first reached out to Julie once the complete renovation of the main floor in our downtown Toronto townhouse had already began. We had been working with a design-build firm on the project, but didn't feel confident in their ability to complete many of the decorative elements that we quickly realized were an essential part in bringing our complete vision to life. I had discovered Julie via Instagram and was instantly drawn to her clean, stylized, yet practical and inviting aesthetic. After our initial discussion on the phone, I knew that working with her was a no brainer - she was open, warm and genuinely excited to begin working together. Throughout the process, Julie was wonderful to work with. She always listened intently to our list of wishes and preferences, while staying within our budget and presenting us with her own artistic flair and design expertise. She went above and beyond to source only the best fabrics, furnishings, craftsmen and decor and was always completely organized in the process. As an artist myself, I really appreciated her flowing creativity, attention to detail and her desire to make sure each that element was a perfect fit for the space. I cannot recommend Julie highly enough - we could not have completed this project without her and we look forward to working with again her when the time comes to renovate the 2nd and 3rd floors in our home!

Julie has helped me with two separate projects now and I would highly recommend her to anybody looking for a down to earth designer to transform your living spaces into something you will love for a long time! On our first project together, she really helped me define my own style and then proceeded to craft the room beautifully. Her eye for colour and fabric choices are always amazing - she pairs things together that I wouldn't think of and I am always so happy with the outcome. She seems to enjoy the process as much as I do having a genuine love of good design.
