Prices are pretty fair and it’s well curated. Good balance of popular stuff and stuff you ain’t heard or can’t really find elsewhere. Also very well organized. While you may be paying a bit more than some other places (not drastically, you’d be paying FMV bc it’s been curated instead of maybe $7 because it was part of a haul of 50 records), considering you don’t have to dig blindly, the generally great condition, and the rarity, i definitely think it’s worth it
Really friendly staff as well. Always feel welcome and never rushed
A fabulous little store. Where else in Toronto can you find Arabic LPs (on Lyrichord) and a Hungarian spoken word album (on Hungaroton) in the new arrivals section? I left with a more than fairly priced Latin record that had been on my wish list for years. A 7'' reggae section better than theirs might only be found in Kingston, Jamaica. Even their budget section is interesting, and the owners exude positive energy. What else could one wish for? Free massages and cocktails? Please ignore the malevolent online trolls and visit this store. Support an honest and knowledgeable business that embodies Toronto's cosmopolitan nature.
Hidden treasure in Toronto, lower level to discover great finds from Chicago, Detroit, and NY. Friendly staff that welcomed me from Chicago as I found some House and 80's tracks I didn't have.
