I have been seeing June the last couple of years and now my hair is far healthier and easier to care for. Cuts last much longer because I understand how, why and what my hair needs, thanks to June's immense volume of knowledge. There is a lot to take in but every visit you absorb more information, building on a foundation of individualized care.

Her methods are different (ie. arrive with freshly washed and dry hair so she can focus on what you can't - the cut) so be ready because if you want ongoing beautiful hair, she is worth-every-penny.

“Kalkidan was incredibly kind and answered all my questions. She walked me through everything she was doing and provided tips on how to take care of my curls along the way. I was very nervous to cut my hair but she listened to what I wanted and combined it with her expertise to give me a beautiful cut.
The best part was after the visit to the boutique, my hair lasted for days, no frizz and no refresh required.

I spent time on google looking for the perfect hair salon in the Toronto area and I found Lone & Co. and it did not disappoint. I called and instantly felt this was the place by the warm greeting I received when I mentioned I'm not from the area and I would like to make an appointment. “Stylist: I came to see Kayleigh last week after not having had my hair cut professionally for many years. I'd been trimming it on my own since well before the pandemic because of many past experiences with hair stylists where I felt like they just hadn't listened to what I wanted. Instead I always left with a cut that I felt was less of what I'd expressed and more of what they wanted for me, i.e. 4 inches shorter than agreed upon and just a totally different style than I was going for. I found Palm Sunday on Google and booked with Kayleigh because my hair just needed a pro at this point, it'd been cut by me for too long and was really starting to look like it.

KAYLEIGH CRUSHED IT. She was so friendly, so sweet AND so knowledgable (I can't stress this part enough), I instantly knew I was in good hands the second my consult began. She made me feel heard, reiterating what it was I wanted and reassuring me and educating me along the way the whole time. It was an absolute pleasure to be in her chair and chat with her during my cut, and we had so much fun.

I left there feeling not only like she gave me exactly what I wanted but soooooo gorgeous because of the care she put into my cut. Her compassionate eyes and ears were everything I needed, and really re-instilled confidence in getting my hair done by a pro. She is totally my hair girl now and I'm so glad I took the chance and tried something new.

Palm Sunday is such a cute spot with such a great vibe, hip and clean and very well run-- just a really nice friendly place that knows what they're doing. My hair, and me as a customer and person were treated with so much respect, and it was tons of fun!
