David was an absolute artisan when it came to polishing our poorly poured, shabby concrete floor. He focused on everything—from the colour of the stones in the aggregate to the overall tone of the concrete and how the curing process would affect the final finish. He consulted with us on every aspect of the process and was meticulous and patient, taking the time to get the absolute best look possible.

Floorlab did an incredible job for us! I was so impressed by the effort they took to get the massive equipment required onto our cramped downtown property and into the house via an irregular entrance and staircase. Then, David and his crew worked tirelessly to polish our cement floor into a thing of beauty. Highly, highly recommended!

David did an incredible job polishing the existing slab in the basement of our 1970's home. As he explained, "it's a mining experiment" and you don't know what you're going to get. But he really worked hard and focused on areas that would bring out more interest in the floor. And in the end it looks absolutely beautiful. A really nice sheen with quite some nice variation in it.Our floor had tons of cracks, and David did a really amazing job filling them and then finishing them in such a way that they almost camoflauge. We expressed an interest in the process, so he explained the various stages as he went and showed us the progress as it evolved.... read full review
