“Martin and Rashad did such an excellent job with my soundproofing window inserts for my condo, I was delighted to hire them again to install custom-sized composite wooden decking on my balcony! They are highly professional, on-time, and most importantly friendly. They worked through an unfortunate rainstorm with no complaints (we hung out in my living room for a while to wait for the worst to pass). They executed my vision expertly and with a very high degree of detail (they meticulously cut the decking to fit perfectly around every edge and railing pillar on my balcony). “David did an incredible job polishing the existing slab in the basement of our 1970's home. As he explained, "it's a mining experiment" and you don't know what you're going to get. But he really worked hard and focused on areas that would bring out more interest in the floor. And in the end it looks absolutely beautiful. A really nice sheen with quite some nice variation in it.Our floor had tons of cracks, and David did a really amazing job filling them and then finishing them in such a way that they almost camoflauge. We expressed an interest in the process, so he explained the various stages as he went and showed us the progress as it evolved. He worked efficiently every day and completed it on schedule (and was also so understanding and accommodating as our own schedule constantly changed due to other trades!). “Beyond our expectations!Whenever we remodel or move Carpet Mill on Carlaw is our first stop when looking for unique area rugs. We have purchased four in the past. Our most recent purchase six months ago was a spectacular aqua coloured deep pile shag which tied in perfectly with our sofas. The problem was the carpet immediately began shedding worse than the family dog. Initially, we felt it was just loose strands and would eventually stop however it never did. The dilemma was we love the carpet but hated the strands. Fed up, we finally called carpet milll and explained the problem to Cathy who promised to look into it. The following week Siad called and told us they had a replacement carpet which is down and not shedding. Thank you Cathy and Siad. P.S. Apologies if i misspelled names.“
