My regular stylist went on maternity-leave and recommended I see Katie at Jackpine salon, so I was going in blind for my first session but trusted her judgment. Wow what a great experience! The salon is beautiful, Katie is so warm and friendly, very easy to talk to; she offered great hair advice, and gave me the exact color and cut I asked for! It can be challenging to find stylist who can make your vision a reality and she did just that. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fresh new color.

And, if you’ve had a day, this girl will have you in stitches with her vibrant and bubbly personality. I’ve tried a few other hairstylists in town and have had some interesting experiences. Thankfully, Nancy has taken my fine hair from damaged to healthy. She added vi-light extensions and, not only do they look fabulous, they also make me feel fabulous!

We are from out of town staying at the lake and I wanted to find a good barber shop. I saw some of the reviews so I called and they were able to fit me in with short notice. Jake cut my hair and he did a great job. I am happy with my new lid. My wife says give it a 10 out of 10. I would highly recommend him.
Been coming here for the last 4-6 years (not sure how long really) but it’s been great everytime Brian does his job great! The other guys seem like they do an alright job! Just kidding! They obviously do a very good job otherwise probably wouldn’t be employed there! Been taking my son here every time he needs it and Brian’s great with him! My bf bought me a spa day for Christmas. I got an hour long massage, which was really nice and relaxing. A body wrap and lotion, my skin still feels really soft and smooth almost a week later. A facial with a scalp massage, which I almost went to dream land I was soo relaxed. And finished off with a pedicure. Every service was wonderful, except I found it a bit uncomfortable that they use a raised bench with sinks at your feet and not the usual massage/sink chairs that most places have.
Brook was my stylist and she did an amazing job with my cut and colour. She's very pleasant and very good at her job. I highly recommend Brook and Terra Nova Salon!! I drove all the way from Sault Ste. Marie to have my hair done there.

I saw Isabella for some ear piercings and she was able to open up what was closed for 30 + years. I had 2 piercings on my left year which I thought were closed for good. She was knowledgeable, professional, gentle, and kind and explained the procedure and what it would entail. She made me feel very comfortable even to find out there wouldn't be freezing lol. So nice to meet you and I will be back for more!

I had a heat pump hot water tank installed by clow darling. It was expensive, but here is why it has so far been awesome: it acts as a dehumidifer and air conditioner for my basement. Although I haven't used it in winter yet, I do have the option of using the electric heating element only in the coldest months. And for this hot muggy summer weather, let me tell you, my basement is refreshingly cold AND dry! I'm actually loving it. I also received an energy rebate from the gov for this.

After having the worst experience I’ve ever had at another dentist in town I developed extreme anxiety with going to the dentist. I went here today for my first appointment and it was the best experience I’ve ever had at a dental clinic. Dr Kam was my dentist and Bailey was my hygienist and she took the time to talk to me, reassure me and explain everything that was happening every step of the way. I am also hard of hearing and she spoke clearly and slowly and didn’t get upset when I had to ask her to repeat herself or spell it out for me. I felt completely comfortable. I will definitely be back again in the spring! If you have anxiety/fear of the dentist or are looking for a new place I would definitely recommend coming here!
We have been visiting Dr. Niles' clinic since our move to Thunder Bay over five years ago. We feel so lucky to have Dr. Niles as our family dentist. Dr. Niles and the entire staff are extremely friendly, accommodating, and efficient. They also excel in handling insurance matters; we don't need to pay upfront and have never encountered any surprises. I would highly recommend Dr. Niles to everyone.

When I had my dog quote a bit ago she would go there to be groomed and always always looked great and Kim did am awesome job and spent time with you if you needed. I called to find out about nail trims as hadn't been there for quite a while. The gentleman on the phone was very nice respectful and polite while telling me about how to get a nail trim done.
