“We moved to Niagara-on-the-Lake in September. The townhouse that I purchased requires an update to the HVAC system. I called Upper Canada Mechanical and Dan Plomish answered the phone on the first ring. As soon as I described the system that I have he knew the complex where my home is located and has done work for some of my neighbours. Dan and his crew arrived at the scheduled time and began the task to remove the old system to get a much more energy efficient and quiet system in the house. They put down work mats and were careful to make sure our two house cats didn't get out the door as they came and went. I am confident that I wasn't be sold anything more than what I need to accomplish my goal. We are extremely happy with the job that was done as well as with the equipment that was installed. I would highly recommend Dan if you need any HVAC work. On a side note, as we are new to the area, Dan was great at giving us the names of other local contractors, plumbers, etc. with whom he has confidence. We have been in touch with some of them and are impressed with the friendly and quick attention to our needs after mentioning Dan's name.“

“Incredibly impressed with the plumbing services we received from Tony at Modern Plumbing. We had a plumbing leak from a cistern pump pipe. Of course of all times it was a Friday night and most plumbers were unreachable but Tony was prompt and came right away. I know for a fact we would have woken up to a flooded basement if it wasn't for Tonys dedication to come to our house that evening. This mom was so grateful our baby did not have to wait until Monday with no running water. Tony was knowledgeable and found the leak quickly. “We have had to use Metro several times over the last few years. They installed our sump pump and moved the basement clean out, replaced some older leaking pipes and a leaking drain, repaired a toilet issue that another plumber told us was not a problem. They are always quick to come out and to make repairs. They are reasonably priced and always professional. Highly recommend!“
