“Great experience! Chad was great and very knowledgeable. They came the same day for our furnace. Told us our furnace was in good shape but that we would need to replace our control board. They called around to suppliers and gave us a quote for the part which was half the price quoted by Reliance who told us "At that price you might as well replace your furance." No up sale, just an honest conversation. Same day replacement. Couldn't be happier!“

“We moved to Niagara-on-the-Lake in September. The townhouse that I purchased requires an update to the HVAC system. I called Upper Canada Mechanical and Dan Plomish answered the phone on the first ring. As soon as I described the system that I have he knew the complex where my home is located and has done work for some of my neighbours. Dan and his crew arrived at the scheduled time and began the task to remove the old system to get a much more energy efficient and quiet system in the house. They put down work mats and were careful to make sure our two house cats didn't get out the door as they came and went. I am confident that I wasn't be sold anything more than what I need to accomplish my goal. We are extremely happy with the job that was done as well as with the equipment that was installed. I would highly recommend Dan if you need any HVAC work. On a side note, as we are new to the area, Dan was great at giving us the names of other local contractors, plumbers, etc. with whom he has confidence. We have been in touch with some of them and are impressed with the friendly and quick attention to our needs after mentioning Dan's name.“

“Two weeks ago we had a Mr. Furnace rep in to check our hot water tank. His name was Robin, and very mannerly and knowledgeable tech. Hi pointed out that the controls were finished and too expensive on this tank as it was 13 years old and it there is no knowing how long the tank would last at this point. He felt worse that I that it was time for a new one. He gave us a quote and we then got another quote and it was $700 more. We called Mr.Furnace back and asked them to take on the job. At the same time I let their office know that we wanted Robin to get credit for the sale as we found him honest and caring. Such a pleasant person. David B.“

“Incredibly impressed with the plumbing services we received from Tony at Modern Plumbing. We had a plumbing leak from a cistern pump pipe. Of course of all times it was a Friday night and most plumbers were unreachable but Tony was prompt and came right away. I know for a fact we would have woken up to a flooded basement if it wasn't for Tonys dedication to come to our house that evening. This mom was so grateful our baby did not have to wait until Monday with no running water. Tony was knowledgeable and found the leak quickly. “We have had to use Metro several times over the last few years. They installed our sump pump and moved the basement clean out, replaced some older leaking pipes and a leaking drain, repaired a toilet issue that another plumber told us was not a problem. They are always quick to come out and to make repairs. They are reasonably priced and always professional. Highly recommend!“

“Highly recommend. After a harrowing experience with a previous hvac company this month, we decided to give another local company an opportunity for business to deal with our a/c. Called J&S and they were there the next day as promised. Matt and Dillon(?) arrived and actually repaired the issue and explained the problem as well. Another large corporate hvac company was here and had indicated the ac had died and tried to sell us a heat and air unit for an exorbitant price when all we wanted was an ac unit. Back to J&S, professional from the minute they arrived. Very down to earth communication. Will def call on them again and recommend.“
