I went to Mary for 24 years before I moved more south. She always did a great job and was such a wonderful person to be around. She saw me and both my brothers grow up from little boys into adulthood. I remember coming to her in the promenade long before they moved to Centre St. I 100% recommend Salon E. Emilio was so helpful and honest about my hair. He gave a great haircut and also took the time to explain my options in terms of colour corrections. I came in with several questions/concerns and he was very sincere with his answers and didn’t just charge me for as many services as possible. Highly recommend this salon for a professional salon experience!

I had a terrible experience at Salon E! A fairly new stylist is working at this salon and can do the basic cuts and blow dry but when asked if she can duplicate a cut and colour from a provided picture she lies to take on this new task which she was clearly not experienced to do! The client was young and was definitely taken advantage. When brought to the stylists attention, she lied and said she "didn't do anything wrong"...the picture clearly proves her wrong.. When asked for a refund, she refused and put her boss on the phone, a rude, loud-mouth, yelling in the phone arrogant man who refuses to listen. He refused to refund the cost of all the monies spent ($180.00) and I wrote to the BBB to discuss the terrible workmanship and irrational behavior and lies from the owner and the stylist at this salon. This salon has been in business for a very long time and at one time was one of the busiest salons in the area. It is no longer the case. The owner is obnoxious at the best of times and his staff of stylists is dwindling down to 2 or 3 girls. My opinion is to stay away from this salon as there are so many other salons in the area that do a much better job and don't steal your money!
