“We have relied on FW Furness for many years. Our home was built in the late 1800s and although solid, has many typical old house challenges maintenance-wise, especially when it has three separate furnaces. Steve, the business owner, and his professional team Seth, Kevin, Jeff, Alec, Sherry, Robin, and Tyler have always provided exceptional service and an in-depth knowledge of how to fix existing issues when fixable, and recommend feasible alternate solutions when not fixable. They are solution-focused, not $- focused. Over almost 14 years, they have repaired our existing systems and we have also purchased a new furnace with air conditioning and relocated that system from the attic to the second floor (a very big job); replaced the basement furnace (when it failed) with a higher efficiency model; replaced a water heater (not sure how they managed it in such an impossibly tiny space); and today, Kevin and Alec are replacing our failed water softener. We are grateful to know such a trustworthy and experienced company and will use only them for all plumbing, heating, and air conditioning issues, as well as annual inspection/cleaning of our heating and cooling systems. “We had an issue with our well pump and I searched online and came across Joe Thebaud Plumbing. Any time I need a plumber I usually cringe because of past experiences with, ahem, "other" companies around Fort Erie. This time was completely different. Joe came out the day after I called him to asses the issue (which was a blocked well pump and a few replacement parts needed) and was able to have it back together and running perfectly. As the pump had to be completely taken out the total time was about 4 hours.The final price was completely reasonable and after a month of use has been better than the day it was installed (getting consistent 40 PSI on a well is great by the way)Joe himself was very kind and knowledgeable and I would certainly use him again!“

“We have had to use Metro several times over the last few years. They installed our sump pump and moved the basement clean out, replaced some older leaking pipes and a leaking drain, repaired a toilet issue that another plumber told us was not a problem. They are always quick to come out and to make repairs. They are reasonably priced and always professional. Highly recommend!“

“I moved back to WNY a year and a half ago. Within the first 2-3 days I was in my house, the hot water heater died. I called Grand Jude in the morning and they showed up and had a new water heater installed that same afternoon, at a price lower than I had paid for a replacement for one at my previous house in another state. Then a few months later my sewer line was clogged. They came first thing the next day and in a couple hours had it all snaked out (tons of tree roots). Then my toilet was leaking at the base. Again, they were here the next day to re-seat it with a new fitting and even replaced the plastic water hose with a stainless one at no extra charge. And now yesterday, again they had to come out to clean out the roots from my sewer line and were done in an hour at a reasonable price. I am very pleased with these folks and will continue to give them my business.“

“We were delighted with the service provided by J. Muro Plumbing & Heating Ltd. The friendly service man (I can't remember his name!) arrived even before the estimated arrival time. We were having trouble with a leak under our kitchen sink and he quickly and efficiently replaced the hot and cold water taps, as well as discovered a leak in the faucet hose. While checking out the main water turn off, he also found a leak in a pipe in the basement and was able to repair that leak in the same visit (I thought the water had been coming in from outside). He went over and above by tightening our faucet and explaining how to attach the new hose that we had to order. Everything is working perfectly now and the cost was very reasonable! I would definitely call this business for any plumbing needs!!“
