I write this review with a heavy heart as I met these wonderful people when I first moved to smiths falls with my cat who was in distress and had no vet. They did not hesitate to take us in immediately and try their very best to save my baby. I called multiple vets in the area who turned us away although my 4 year old cat had very few hours left to live. They were the most empathetic team I have ever met. Very grateful to have a new vet to come to knowing my new kitten will be thoroughly taken care of and cared for. Thanks all.

Unfortunately, our first and second visit to the Lanark Vet (we always go to Carleton Vet in North Gower) was to get medicine for our very sick cat, and then subsequently to say goodbye to her. Every single interaction with staff from the clinic was filled with kindness and caring. Dr. Eslimi came outside in the freezing cold to talk to my 9-year-old about the euthanasia process, explained it in appropriate terms, and made sure he still wanted to be in the room. When we went in, it was just such an organized, peaceful, professional experience. Yesterday in the mail, we received a card with hand-written messages, and 2 paw prints of our kitty, which my son will cherish forever. I never leave reviews, but this place is truly exceptional. They went above and beyond and they deserve to be recognized. Thank you to everyone that helped nurture my little guy's heart as he said goodbye to his furry friend.

I certainly can’t say enough great things about Dr. Lima and his staff. They are wonderful, attentive and very kind. They take great care of my pets and are always reassuring and patient with my worries. I would not trust my dogs with anyone but them. It also helps that both my dogs LOVE the staff there! Thank you for taking great care of my babies xx
