“Are you KIDDING ME!! This had to be one of the best experiences I've ever had with home reno services. I have an older house and was trying to decide between Vinyl planks or new Re-engineered hardwood and someone suggested that I just refinish these floors because they're original. Of course, this was the cheapest option so I didnt think it would have the WOW factor that I was looking for. BOY WAS I WRONG!!<br><br>I called their team and set up the date via Anne who was very polite and answered all my questions. I asked MANY and she didnt hesitate to answer each and every one. The plan was to do the living room. I met Gino and Ian who surveyed the area. When they told me that I had measured the square footage wrong, and that the estimate would be cheaper I couldnt be happier. See, the estimate came from a previous team who I didnt go with. Turns out they had added an extra 100sq feet to my estimate. Was it an 'accident'? I dont know, but Gino told me right away the correct measurements and the cheaper price.<br><br>My floor also had two ugly columns which left unsightly patched wood on the floor where they had been removed. Their team said they could take care of that no problem. They tarped off their work areas and did the living room, and two bedrooms. Ill never forget seeing the floors after they made the first strip. they hadnt even stained it yet and I was blown away by how great my floors looked! Then they patched the floors.<br><br>The magic was when they had stained it. They called me upstairs to take a look at it and I swear it looked like I had brand new floors. I coudlnt believe it was my living room. And I havent even gotten to what may be the best part....<br><br>The floors looked SO GOOD that I said 'ok, we have to make an appointment to do the Dining room which is separated by my ktichen. My dining room area had a HUGE SQUEAK. It sounded so bad and made the house feel old. They said no problem and they fixed the squeak!! Now my floors are perfect and the squeak is completely gone! And all at a fraction of the quotes I was getting to redo brand new floors.<br><br>On top of all that, Gino and Ian are punctual, SUPER polite and ensure that you're happy with the job before they're done. I dont think they even took breaks....maybe 10 minutes for a coffee but you can honestly tell that they enjoy they're work. I will definitely be keeping them on my short list of home reno contacts whenever I need anything done.<br><br>Thanks again to Gino, Ian and Anne for helping to increase the value of my home and at the same time, allowing me the pleasure to enjoy how great my floors look as soon as I walk through that door.
